InactiveIMO it seems to be more steady, thats just my guess from reading what people say here. I get paid off the rake.. whether they win or they lose, I’m getting paid as long as they are meeting the rake. Besides, I hate rooting for ppl to lose! It’s against my nature

InactiveCasinos are more profitable over the short-run, while poker seems to give lower monthly commissions but the players tend to play for a longer period of time…at least in my experience so far.
This probably goes hand-in-hand with the fact that you are paid from the rake, so a winning poker player is just as profitable as a loosing poker player…therefore if you are winning, breaking even, or progressing from loosing, human nature would dictate that you keep going. Personally, I don’t know why people keep chugging money into casinos knowing the percentage chance of loosing it all.

InactiveForgot to answer the original question. As far as poker rooms to promote, I can recommend the following since I’ve had some success with them:
Bodog
Paradise
Ultimate BetJanuary 23, 2006 at 4:57 am #681565Anonymous
InactiveThe only poker room that consistently brings in good money is party poker. Other rooms that do decent for me are pacific poker, empire poker (they are not doing as good as they used to), the fortune affiliate poker rooms, and casinoreward poker rooms.

Inactivebut like partypoker is really famous and does advertising on magazines and TV etc etc…
isnt it kind of dangerous to promote it since you wont get as much affiliate comission?
Thanks

InactiveDefinitely have an alternative to Party Poker, because yeah, most people have an account there already.
My top performers so far are:
Poker.com
Bodog
Absolute PokerJanuary 23, 2006 at 10:04 pm #681656Anonymous
InactivePoker rooms that advertise should help your conversion rates. If someone comes to your site looking for an online poker room, and sees a site that they recognize from a commercial then the trust is built and they are reminded of the brand by you, which makes them more likely to sign up. That’s the theory anyway. Party Poker might be in their own league since they are so large and many many first time players sign up there.

Inactivebefore I started on this side of the coin (affiliate program staff) I worked as an affiliate for a year.
I found ongame (pokerroom.com and the other sites on that network) to be a very safe bet.
Definitely have 3 or so rooms to work with.
