mor2000MemberThat’s a nice looking site, what is your backend to the site, are you using a cms?

akcov68MemberHi Maxe,
That is a good looking site: good content and creative balance. Plus, I really liked your polls.

Out of curiosity, are you planning on adding more reviews of other deposit methods? There are some very popular ones that might help you target traffic from a particular country or geographic region.
Well done though!

gretadasMemberThanks for the kind words. The site is based on a JOOMLA platform, and is accessed by an admin panel. Vey easy to use for a newby like me! I agree that im not certain the casinos im offering are 100% right for me. As i mentioned in a previous post some affiliate services are not responding to emails and are not being generous enough i think. I think im due for a SHAKE OUT of non performers! Any suggestions of alternatives will be considered.

InactiveHi Maxe,
I think the text at the top of the page is a different font then the text underneath it. It is also hard to read because of the size and the white font against the green background. I’m not a design expert, but I would have to say the image of the leaf in the background is kind of distracting to a reader. My eyes focused there instead of the content.
Best of luck.

InactiveI think the site is hard to read.
You have several 468X60 banners on your page in the body area, but the first one isn’t clickable. (The one that has Blackjacksnap in the image.) That’s going to reduce the number of clickthroughs you get to the other banner farms on the page. (Although I think having several 468X60’s on a page in a row like that kinda makes a site look like a “banner farm” anyway.)
What keyword phrase are you hoping that your homepage will rank for, btw? Whatever it is, you might add it to your metatitle tag.

gretadasMemberFocal, what are you veiwing the site with? is it Mozilla Firefox. I agree it looks a bit stranger in FF than with IE. Windows Vista is fairly crisp to view with. I know its quite unusual with the misty menu and the leaf, but im willing to be different.
Randy, the first banner is my site banner, so no link is neccisary, it dose not link to any casino. Banner farm, well its not my aim, im just trying to give a bit more exposure to my affiliates.

I think Randy referred to the title of your page which was only BlackJackSnap, but as I see meantime you changed it

I also find your own banner on the top of the page a bit unusual, you might use that real estate for a “real” banner or special offer of a casino, that spot is almost the most important on your page, and your logo on the top is very nice to make your branding attempts on your site, but it might be a good idea to change your own un-clickable banner to a real deal or “in spotlight” feature for your visitors

You might want to read this excellent post: http://www.problogger.net/archives/2008/05/10/ad-positioning-tactics-to-increase-your-adsense-earnings-overnight/
It is not about casino affiliation, but placing ads (i.e. monetizing your website -which is the same what we gambling affiliates do – we want the clickthroughs
) , but you can see what areas of the websites are generating the most clickthroughs. Also you might find useful this post about heat maps: http://www.problogger.net/archives/2007/08/16/create-a-heatmap-of-where-readers-click-on-your-blog/ try them for some time and you will see what visitors like to click on your website.

I hope this helps. :hattip:

gretadasMemberThanks for the advice sipka, im going to reconsider the site banner, Its quite a relevant catchy banner, which is why i use it here, but if im not converting then its useless i guess. As for the title, yes your right, i figured out that was being referred to in the previous post.
Being a newbie, my backend admin area has the site name come up as the title. So i thought it was for the site name! Seems its better to use as a title tag im guessing. SEO is very confusing for me, the more i read about it, the more confused i get!!
I guess i need a catchy relevant phrase to go in here,(site name). The problem i find is with the title tag is that if too long, it blocks out the dynamic content titles from showing for my other pages( on google). This is a Joomla open source website, and i gather they do things different.
Im realy going to have to get a Joomla specialist to help me get all of this right i think.:hattip:
