biggygMemberWould be nice if you are right Dom.Now the big question is will affiliates welcome them back with open arms? If the software looks and feels like Microgaming that would be difficult not to promote but a few have RTG casinos now.I rather send my traffic to CWC ,Mainstreet etc who have stuck with us since 2006.

InactiveWell, the new software is not open for aquisitions at the time, it is more like a way to let players keep playing and keep affiliates happy by continuing to pay for old players while ducking the UIGEA situation. UIGEA will be coming into effect the first of next month – probably – efforts are underway to stall it once more.
The software – it’s like MGS sold most of it’s minor games to another provider. The licenced games like Thunderstruck, Hellboy and Tombraider are not included. Tournaments and progressives are also excluded.
All MGS operator groups will have one casino to catch displaced US players.
Player feedback so far is not good – they miss the removed games. Still, the remaining games are good quality also and choices in the US have been reduced to RTG, Rival and Topgame. Players want variety for the most part, and many swear by MGS.

InactiveSo far it seems like this is only for exsisting players, although i hear some aff managers think it will open to new US players in the future. My experience so far is that nothing really work correctly yet lol

InactiveAll should be working by the 1st. I think Betway bought the games it shows now. Most likely they will add different games as time goes and also allow aquisitions.

Inactiveso are the old MG sites going to submit our old US facing clients to this new site? Do we need to do anything to get these lost players back?

InactiveLooks like all will be automatic so far… except for fortune where you have to sign into a new program:
As of the 28th of May, a new affiliate account will be created for you on Revshare Affiliates
This means that if you have any active U.S. players, you can view your stats on RevShare Affiliates
Your account number will remain the same as your “FA” account number, but with an “RS” prefix. This means your FA Account number FA00, will now be RS00
Your email address and log in password will remain the same as on Fortune Affiliates
We are going to move the account details for each of your US-based players across in full with all banner tags and information that we currently have in our back office
Player banner tags and revenue models will not change at all. We will honour your chosen earnings model and all terms and conditions as agreed to on Fortune Affiliates
You will still be able to access state-of-the-art reporting and support
You will, in future, receive separate payments for your earnings on US players and non-US players via Revshare Affiliates and Fortune Affiliates respectively
As they are separate companies, negative earnings from one will not affect positive earnings on the other
At this point, we will not be accepting new US playersMay 22, 2010 at 11:17 am #810346Anonymous

InactiveThis can only be good news, I hope the FA group or the new group will aggressively email/contact the lost players who have been blocked for so long, who knows what to expect but I see no down side.

InactiveI am sure betway plans to monetize this properly.
Initially players will be disappointed at the missing games and features, but what will happen is that new games will be added and the software will open up for aquisitions. It will be a software that shares a bunch of games with MGS, but that is totally independent and has a lot of unique games.
MGS will face entirely to Europe itself, which opens a way to re-enter the US when licencing opens up.
Meanwhile, there is a way to monetize excisting US players and soon new aquisitions.
Not a bad plan, really.
