InactiveI like your simple sitemap. However, I was hoping for more when I got to the specific areas! Like a sub-site dedicated to BlackJack or Slots.
Nice, though. I like the idea.

InactiveCaptivating homepage! I agree about the content, but once you have added more of that, I think the brilliant and unique concept will push conversions beyond that of an average portal.
The map and images could stand to be a little larger and less fuzzy for those viewing with larger resolution (I’m using 1280 x 1024).
Not just another affiliate site!

Inactive(Ok so I’ll give it the harsh review – because your experienced affilaits and don’t need it sugar coated)
:stirpot:Nice idea. stuttering execution.
I don’t like the top font – as being a bit too hard to read.
I don’t like the big “black font on yellow” explanations in the subsections.
I don’t like all those words running together in one long sentence.Use readable fonts – use white space (or blank space at least) – I tended to skim the “content” as it was far too daunting to read and seemed to be shouting at me it was so bold and strong.
Each of the subsections seem low in content on places to play. PErhaps consider a top 5? And move the gameble specific ideas (stop loss plans etc) to their own section.
It’s a quirky little site – that might get a smile on first visit.
But for it to suceed you’ll need a great linking / SEO plan to get oodles of first time visitors as I don’t expect that the site would get bookmarked by too many people thinking that they might return back to it.
:dozing:—-
Hey – but I could be way wrong and this could be just what (sea-faring) newbies need to get into the game …. Good luck with it guys.

InactiveCute site! I hate the yellow in the webmaster section. Hurts my eyes.
But love the theme. You need to carry it through, and stick with those colors. Give it some cohesion.

InactiveHaha
I feel like Paula Abdul on American Idol, all gushing.
I love the concept, but after leaving the homepage, the magic is gone.
Like Dom says, carry the theme throughout the site, not just a little nav at the top, perhaps adding some better fonts and an off-white background (old paper with charred edged?) that won’t compete with the text.
The yellow is in sharp contrast with the theme. A real turn-off.

InactiveThe index page is a nice and original concept. I like it.
The problem IMO is that your all internal pages are at glance a duplicate of the home page.
This could be a problem with visitors.
They may think that there’s some mistake, leaving the site without scroll down .June 6, 2006 at 1:31 pm #694709Anonymous

InactiveIn my limited opinion I like it based on the fact you are thinking out side the norm. Websites don’t all have to look the same, the same black and white scenerio.
