InactiveIs having a check sent reliable? Royal Mail seems to have a delivery rate of 10% i.e. 90% of the time you get nothing.

InactiveI’ve been trying to register my bank account with them since January (yes, January) and I think I finally succeeded yesterday.
The checks have all made it (pretty fast) to Spain, but the banks do enjoy taking a nice cut

InactiveWell after speaking with support about a dozen times, trying both in Spanish and English I finally got a nice lady from the UK that knew what she was doing
Damn I made it a point to remember her name in case I needed something again, but I forgot
I think it was Clarice, but don’t quote me on that :dontget:September 20, 2006 at 9:32 pm #706730Anonymous
InactiveThough english is not my first language i have registered my bank account very easy with them, got the verification deposit within 7-10 days and it works smoothly since. Moreover, i find them to be more efficient and faster as previous withdrawals to my bank account took 7-14 days.. now they do it within 3-5 business days.
The only headache they give me is disallowing withdrawing funds that were originated by a deposit and not transferred from a merchant.
Yes, it’s frustrating to chat to their “Aggressively Polite” representatives.. makes me feel as if i am talking to a machine or robot.. I hate that, it makes me want to :banger: them.
What matters to me most is the bottom line.. and they provide me a great service at the bottom line for a very reasonable cost.. I have to stick with them

GuestHi,
I had a problem getting my son’s neteller account verified.
long story shortened is to just keep calling them until you get a rep that is competent and make sure you ask for their name and jot it down so you know who it was that told you what.
hope that helps, though I doubt it will in the short term.

InactiveAha! so the “call until you get someone competent strategy” worked for you too huh

InactiveI don’t know about other countries, but in the US, you have to have a ‘verified telephone in your name’ before they send the micro deposit to your account.
Myself, a sister, a cousin and a friend.. all same story.
Noone ever said we needed a ‘verfied telephone in our name’. Noone ever told us how to achieve this. But after several phone calls, we found that all we had to do was call, ask for security department, and tell them we need our phone verified. Now in all honesty, one of us does not have a ‘verified phone number in OUR OWN NAME’ .. they just call you, when you answer they ask your mom’s middle name… a few other questions, and then you have a ‘verified telephone in your name’ .. or your husbands name.. or the neighbors .. or whatever, but you answer it, and I guess that’s the point.
After that they send the lil deposits like paypal, and hopefully you never have to talk to them again, because like every area of the customer service industry .. getting someone that know’s or cares what they are talking about is a coin toss.

Good clue mate!
I made a phone call to Neteller and after 20 days my account is certificated.
They are unable to certify an account until they call in reverse to the number provided in the scan/fax bill.
The odd thing is that the process is not in detail in the website.NOTE: If you are using a non english bill phone, be prepared to help the representative to understand it . Could be a long long exchange.
