bealMemberThe strong points of the casino(mobile games are the future), the player retention scheme should be more visible to affiliates, so they know if it’s worth sending traffic.

seedingltdMemberThey need to have literally paid someone I already know in the industry at this point for me to work with them in order to get an idea about retention and conversion like pokerhawk says. The right brand makes a huge difference, much bigger than the actually deal in most cases since there are so many bad ones out there.
Good points that make me want to work with them:
I find out if they have good artwork and bonus promotions relevant to my players demographics for the site I am considering publishing them on. I combine this initial impression with the core values of the program like Kononen points out like negative carryover, odd fees imposed, cost to cash out (yay USA!), software, and withdraw methods to a smaller extent.
Things that make me really work with a new operator right away:
Placement fees renewed monthly, custom earnings calculations, joint content creation projects, basically a partner that will give me a lot more than just anyone off the street.
This is just being honest, since they all run the same software, internet gambling affiliate programs should be mostly measured by their perceived quality to the players, but revenue generating value to the affiliate will make or break everything.

dundSocowncesMemberSome great responses here.
Muffincrumbs, thank you for all of that detail. I will be pointing this thread out to many of our advertisers as I think this is great opportunity for some ideas to get passed around that can make all parties more successful. Keep the feedback coming everyone.
Cheers!

InactiveThe above responses are excellent. I’ll just add a few more points. I look at the forums and read what the affiliates are saying about them. If the program has many “payment issue” threads, then I’ll steer clear of it. I will also look at who is promoting it. If super affiliates are not touching them, then I’ll have to wonder why. It gives me more confidence to promote a brand if many of the big affiliates are also promoting it. I also google the sponsors and casino brands and try to find out if anyone has rogued or blacklisted them, and why.

lukanychMemberGood CPA – no baseline! Payments have to fall as requestet and customer service must be in top. Then I’m all in!
