I would also suggest the new kid on the block, PokerChamps.
Their tech support is great, software excellent, they pay on tournament buy ins as well as regular play and your potential players are most likely not already members.
The down side, it’s a brand spanking new program, and who knows how it’ll perform…

Sparrow – I downloaded the Poker Champs software to try them out. Do you know if there is a way to get the screen to maximize to full screen? Mine was a half screen and all of the nonsense on my desktop, above and to the sides, was distracting.
f&p, when it first loads up it should have some screen layout options. The one on the top right is the full screen version. I’m guessing the one on the bottom right will eventually be a full screen version with two windows.
I usually play the double screen view with one in the tourney screen on my tournament so I can keep track of the leaderboard, etc and the other on my table.
They have freerolls every two hours. That’s where the best play is for now.
One thing to watch for, when the software downloads updates, it’ll respawn itself after a few seconds. The first time it happened to me I kept trying to open it again and it kept downloading updates…

If you want to track free-rolls, I’d recommend Freerollmonitor . Its a professional site with buckets of freerolls for newcomers to take advantage of.

BradJust an update, PokerChamps announced they’re opening up their cash games. I was in there last night and it looked like all the tournaments had players, so it’s looking potentially good so far.
Of course now there are fewer freerolls for me to waste hours on…
