I’ll read all of them.. going with start to end..

The alchemist – impressed with the firs 3 lines in wikipedia sold me on reading it!

the wolf of wall street – 5 book in 5 years.. has to be good! loosely know what its sort of about, and seems good.

The Spy Who Came in from the Cold – looks good!

blink – wow.. human behaviour, touched something i have a keen interest in. history and geography being the other 2.

The Fountainhead, Ayn Ran – read in wiki “Rand’s descriptions of Roark’s buildings were inspired by the work of Frank Lloyd Wright, such as Fallingwater, a residence he designed in the 1930s.”
–> Frank Lloyd Wright and his building Fallingwater I know well!

Ender’s Game – I read this when I was 17 yrs old, I didnt know much about Orson Scott Card then.. but.. this book has been forever ingrained into my mind.

I’m still waiting for my books to arrive! Books in Australia are a minimum $20 here… I usually order them from the UK or US.

I have to confess that I’ve never read an entire book in my whole life lol

Almost read one in year 11 English class, but then got really lazy. Half way through the book, I stopped reading it and went on the Internet to get a summary of the story line, and to get material for the assignment that was based on this book lol

I’m going to make it my personal goal to read an entire book this year, and I’ll use some of those suggestions that were posted on my thread :hattip:

You’re in Brisbane right? Go to Archives in the cbd and ask them to recommend something you’re interested in. Great place.

Archives Fine Books!! I haven’t heard of this place in years.
I used to walk past it often, and lament about walking in – but being in the city you’re always rushing from place to place.

I’ll pay them a visit for some classic.
