guys can you name me one good casino affiliate programme targeted at UK players that has a decent conversion rate?
I’ve tried promoting 32red but with zilch conversions!
I was about to try promoting skykingscasino seeing it has a nice landing page..etc but i’ve heard some nasty stories about c-pays….So please help me find the right partner – as an aside my site is mainly about the stock market and to my dismay most traders don’t seem to be interested much in casinos :sarcasm:
thanks in advance
November 12, 2008 at 9:27 am #786590meemeeMemberHi,
Have you tried promoting any of the UK sportsbook brands who have casinos?
UK punters like playing at brands they can trust, whether they’ve seen them on the high st like Laddies, Hills or totesport or have a strong sports-ground presence like 365, betfair and dare i say it totesport :wink-wink
I’ve done some campaigns with city based sites in the past and although conversions weren’t always great you can certainly catch the odd big fish and we really look after our big fish and keep them playing. We also offer cross revenue share so if your traffic fancy a punt on the races or the big match you can earn off the back of that too.
Happy to PM you with further details if you like,
Cheers

LuckyStrike, I won’t chew your ear off here with further selling of my brand, I’ve pm’d you. If you have any questions then don’t hesitate to get in touch with me.

November 12, 2008 at 10:10 am #786594FedodropsMemberHi Luckystrike,
Like Hodgeyboy, I’ll keep it brief, except to say that there are some very popular TV branded games on http://www.jackpotjoy.com that you can promote through Market-ace, including Deal or No Deal, Family Fortunes, Strike it Lucky, and Golden Balls.
All of these brands are very familiar with UK players, which very much helps with conversions, as do the very large jackpots we often pay out, including an astonishing jackpot last year on Deal or No Deal for £965,000. Check out our winners stories for more information.
If you get good ongoing support from whoever you promote, you will get good conversions. Good luck. Let me know if you need anything.
Cheers,
Jon

Of course we also have the ‘normal’ casino games, and poker and bingo are coming soon.

Appropriate design?, name?, payment methods..?.. just strong in the UK?Tx
November 12, 2008 at 12:31 pm #786614FedodropsMemberShay,
There’s no easy way to mark a gaming site as a UK brand. A site’s reputation is built through being established and trusted in a certain territory for a good number of years.
At risk of laying this on a bit thick, Sun Bingo, Jackpot Joy, and News of the World Bingo (promoted through Market-ace) are the most popular household names in UK gaming because they have built up a loyal following through fairness and reputable dealing.
Being UK focused is the same as being trusted by UK players. Simple.

I think that the UK consumer wants to deposit monies with a reputable company and a brand that they can trust.
Firms such as Ladbrokes, William Hill, Corals and to a lesser extent totesport and Betfred have had a high street presence in the UK for 40 years, so your average British consumer will have some kind of affinity with these brands.
Add to this the bet365’s, Betfair’s and Skybet’s who have considerable above and below the line presence in channels readily available to the UK customer have also raised brand awareness.
I’ve worked for companies from an entry to market level as well as those with a terrific UK brand (practically an institution!) and there’s a phenomenal difference in acquisition rates amongst UK traffic.
November 12, 2008 at 1:10 pm #786620AnonymousInactiveI agree with Jon.
In addition to that, it can have to do with being based in the UK, having a UK support team (so players speak to people they can relate to) and focusing your advertising on the UK.
With that you’ll get more and more UK players and, provided you run a fair operation of course, in time trust will come too.
Cheers

my hesitation on deciding whether to go for a high street brand is that a prospect is likely to already have an account there.
However, supposing I went for it – is there a UK company out there that converts well and pays across all product brands in a fair way – i.e. if i introduce a client to the casino and he went to play the sportsbook or poker I would still earn commissions across that offering. Some companies have that but on a reduced level in that they force you to select your primary product – say 30% casino and only 10% sportsbook. Really I need a real partner here – I’m tired of sending traffic to sites that don’t convert.
November 12, 2008 at 2:46 pm #786636ZlzmbmaxMemberA real partner you say?
Bet365 offer the same level of rev share across all products from day one; 30% on everything.
