Good Luck mate. Donation made. Will make sure you don’t touch a drop of ale at LAC at the end of the month. Got to do my part to ensure you keep to your training regime!

    Hi All

An update on my London Marathon training progress: I am really piling up the miles now, my schedule is progressing relentlessly. Almost up to 2 hour runs now on Sundays which for me is quite long!
If only I keep my knees intact I should be able to make the whole thing on the 25th April, it’s creeping up on me now. No place to hide.

I’ll need all the support I can get and so does my charity Multiple Sclerosis Resource Centre (MSRC) so feel free to donate on Jasper van der Bliek is fundraising for The Multiple Sclerosis Resource Centre – JustGiving

    Cheers
    Jasper

Well it’s only 9 days to go (Sunday 25 April) to my marathon I’m almost there!
The last couple of months have not been easy especially because I couldn’t train for 3 weeks due to injury so I’m not as well prepared as I could be. But determined to make it to the finish though!

I am running for the Multiple Sclerosis Resource Centre, a very worthy cause with a personal colour to it (my sister has it). It would be great if you could support me: http://www.justgiving.com/jaspermarathon

    Thanks!
    Jasper

    Well I did it!

Managed to complete the London marathon this Sunday in 4.33.16. For a first time effort I am really pleased with that!
It went quite well, I felt good until between mile 21 and 22, that’s when the suffering really started. The last 45 minutes or so were very very hard but the fanatic spectators really helped me push on until the end.

It was a great experience all in all.
