InactiveI read that the chance to get a Royal Flush in Texas Holdem (7 cards) is 0.0032%.
That means 1 Royal Flush in 31250 hands.Good luck!

GuestCongrats.
I don’t know about hold’em. I once won high hand twice in two days at GTiger. or 2 in 3 days. something like that. I know one was straight flush. and if memory serves it was what has been a had that has mocked me for a long time. 9,10, j, q, k.
I’ve gotten a lot of those straight flushes.
anyway Cat, don’t go counting yourself out. things happen in streaks. just like the high hand thing … I played for 20 years before I got my first royal flush which I traded in a 9 and drew the ace ..honest. Plus I had just jumped credit values from $1 to $5. I”ve got the screen shot of it around somewhere. this was ages ago.
That was at Intercasino. Shortly later …maybe a month or two.. hit another royal at sister site VIP but at lesser credit value. I think it was a dollar.
Then I’d guess within another month or two I hit another one at a MGS casino .. I have pics of all three of those . but I think I hit a 4th at MGS … I’m pretty sure .. just after and it was only for the $.25 credit values however. (and I can’t find that pic so I’m now wondering if I dreamed it) *add smilie that shrugs here.
the first was the best. How often do you jump 5x your normal wager value and then … after trading in what was a ton of money to me because as mentioned ..5x norm … so a straight flush would still have put a lot of money back in my bank roll.
But I did what they tell you to do … very begrudgingly I might add. (truth is the only reason I did it was I knew I’d never live with myself … wondering if I could have had soooo much more if I’d only had the guts)
so as brave as it might make me sound. … the reason I tossed the 9 and drew … was i was too big a coward to live with “I wonder …?”
I got story for everything don’t I?

InactiveGutsy play as well from both players, pumping in so much money on drawing hands although the 10, 9 off suit was definitly a bit on the risky side, although still kind of a bad beat
Congrats though, I’ve had a few straight flushes, normally when I get no action at the table which is just the worst feeling but never a royal flush.
