InactiveI have a feeling they won’t pay you $500 per player… I would think that you would somehow have to prove that it is worth it in the long run for them to pay you that much. So you would have to be a super affiliate with them that has already brought them high quality players for awhile…

Inactiveyea ive figured it’s too much

but the way i see it, partypoker and i are both taking chances…i dont know if my 500 players are gonna be whales or not but they MIGHT be. Should I go for $300 then like PS offers??

InactivePokerstars doesn’t offer 300$ -per- signup.. they offer 300$ for signups after the 250th or something like that. If you can send over 250 players a month, congrats.

Inactiveworldpeace wrote:OK…..pokerstars pays $300 per player at the rate of 300+ (im not sure if this is the right now)Let’s just say…..I could bring in 500 REAL MONEY PLAYERS to partypoker. I could definitely negociate the CPA right? How much should be the right CPA? $500 per player? I know the avg. player generates $30-50 a month. I could make more $ in the long run ($30x500playersx12monthsx2years would suprass the CPA mark) but I’m not certain if my players would play that much. What should I do? Take the PHAT check or….take the risk and do it for the long run?
PS Please do not ask me how I’m bringing the players…
Go for the long run. Look at it from Party Pokers perspective…..if you have these 500 players, why would you just do CPA? Is it because you doubt that they will be whales? Then why should Party Poker pay for 500 players who may or may not disappear within a month?
Long run is better. Even if out of the 500 only 1 sticks around, it’ll still make you more in the long run.
Now if you think the majority of these players are just going to be the standard bonus players hitting signups & reloads THEN CPA is obviously +EV because even if you have 1 big earning player, the 499 others will negatively affect your MGR.

InactiveYou fail to realize that poker whales are different from casino and sportsbooks whales. Poker whales are players with a brain. (winning players). And no player with a brain will play online poker without a rake back deal where possible. The MGR fest is over.

The MGR fest is over.True, but Party is apparently trying to stop rakeback and PokerStars never offered rakeback. But, players with a brain still play there! Why is that? Because the fish play there! So, as long as there are fish available at these poker rooms, the sharks will be there, even if there is no rakeback available!

Besides that, getting rake back at Party Poker is about the easiest thing in the world.
I am debating from an affiliate’s point of view. Not a poker room.
