    Please can you explain these (quick) stats to me (none of the ‘proper / detailed’ reports work – still ‘unable to retrieve data’…

    Downloads/Clicks 0%
    New Real Players 53
    New Real Players/Downloads 0%
    New Wagering Players 37
    New Wagering Players/New Real Players 70%

    In particular, it was funny to see..
    29 Clicks (I’ve only used the new codes for the 300 free thing)…
    37 New Wagering players (did 8 of them really download last month and only start playing this)?
    Does ‘New Wagering players’ mean ‘first time depositors’… or first time wagering including free spins?

    Also noticed I can’t get to My Account – it just goes to “Oops we’ve got an error .. bla bla.. we know it and we’re fixing it’… like ermm it said 2-3 weeks ago…

    37 New Wagering players – You only had 29 clicks from new links, this is excluding new signups from old ReferSpot tags. So yes you infact had 37 new wagering players this month (1 from GPA links, rest from old referspot links) and I see they all came in within the month.
    Does ‘New Wagering players’ mean ‘first time depositors’… or first time wagering including free spins? – New Wagering Players are any players under your account who wagered for the first time. Yes, this includes free money & free spins. So you could have a player who has just come in for free spins and it will reflect here.

    I hope thats answered some of your questions. Let me know if you have any more.

    As for bringing back ReferSpot. I hear your appeal… and your silent yawn in the background LOL :laughcry:, but Grand Prive Affiliates is the way forward.

    Where are the old links being recorded at? You realize there are many affiliates that are in the industry for many many years and they cannot possibly go and change out every single link because you all did not hire a smart enough tech to make this new program work smooth and show accurate stat info?

    Personally if this is the way forward I am not jumping on the ride, it is a crap ride and I want nothing to do with it, I will go with a program that I am confident is tracking my players and my money I earn with at least 99% accuracy, also I like to be shown respect by having my concerns addressed in a nice timely manner instead of waiting for days and weeks.

    Seriously right now your program does not report correctly at all and you have not explained to us affiliates why this is and when we can expect things to be corrected.

    Have you indeed mapped over ALL of our players from Referspot?? It seems to me like your not really wanting affiliates around, is this why it is not the top of your list to address and fix these concerns?

    Hi Bonustreak,

    Will give you a call to discuss.

    Old ReferSpot links are being recorded in terms of new player registrations & revenue generated. Traffic generated off these still earn at the old 25-35% structure, unless otherwise arranged prior to 31 May. ReferSpot links are on a different media recorder to those of Grand Prive Affiliates, but the player info is all the same. Therefore, its only the clicks & downloads generated through old ReferSpot links that do not record, players that follow these will still be recorded and reflect at 25-35%. ALL of your players from Referspot have been mapped over 100%.

    Hello Gordon,

    I am sorry to say, that i also must job on this band wagon. You know i like you and the grand prive group. But with that said, i am disgusted with my stats since the switch over. From what your stats, and yourself have told me is, that all my players that deposit since i started promoting your group, have now , not deposited anymore since the switch over? i do not believe this, something is not right in denmark!

    I know i never made the big money , but for my little board i was happy i was making something. I know i only had about 9 or 10 depositing players, but they deposited EVERY MONTH, so there was always some activity. Now all i see are the 3 new players i have, and my old players are gone??? no dep. no playing nothing. and that is just WRONG!!!!

    Now i also know you would rather have me call you and talk on the phone so you can try and smooth things over with me, and i usually get off the phone with you, happy you atleast took my call, and take your word for whats going on, and sit back and wait to see a change, but that has not happened, and i am not happy, so i want to discuss this with my affiliate peers , some of who are much more experienced than i am, and they can see what you say now, and what your answers are, because they may think of questions to ask that i would not think of.

    so please respect my feelings on this issue, and reply here, so i and everyone else can see what the answers are to my issues and maybe i can get some help either understanding what you tell me, or back up with my complaint.

    While I know you dont want to hear any more excuses, I did want to write to you to let you know that your query has gone to the top of Microgaming. You say you cant view reports and we take this very seriously. Have been fighting your case with them ever since. I know you are a bit dissappointed and we are too with the response time.

    Remember when reports used to be slow, well, a server tweak here, a code change there, should have resolved this. While we know its not absolutely optimized, it definitely wont just NOT allow you to view your reports. Thats why these guys are taking this seriously and when I say top I do mean top.

    That said, I do thank you for your patience. I think until we can find resolution we should check in on progress, daily if needs be, just want to get you viewing reports as soon as possible. No fobbing off, its not going to help either of us, its in our best interests to have this resolved as quickly & constructively as possible.

    Triple777’s – Thank you for letting us know how you feel and disappointed that you are unhappy. I’m a little confused though and was hoping you could help me out. You say you dont have any existing depositers on your account, while I cant post your stats here, but I can show that you do have existing players currently depositing on your account. Your welcome to check in with me and we can go through it. More than happy to help. Let me know.

    Thanks for your reply .. thing is it’s like you’ve told me before – you agree with me it should be fixed..

    As for your other reply for reasons – I’ve tried every time of day, different locations even and I always get the same – I’ve worked in IT in problem solving to narrow it down to something with My Account.. (which incidentally if I try to go into it throws up an error).. something hidden in there you don’t want me to see / reset ?

    Your reply is just lots of ‘words’… but you never answered my question..

    Well ok, actually Gordon has been in touch via email to see if I can get my stats – having apparently had some changes go on..

    MY REPORTS STILL DON’T WORK!

    With all the constant stuff I see happening, particularly the spamming which they evidently do NOT take seriously, AND my own personal experiences of their inability to remove me from a mailing list (I just auto-junk the casino mails now)..

    IF I CAN’T GET MY REPORTS BY THE END OF THIS MONTH – AND MONITOR THEM MYSELF ON A DAY-TO-DAY BASIS (NOT WHEN THERE’S THE POTENTIAL FOR THEM TO HAVE BEEN RIGGED – BUT WHEN I CAN DO MY OWN CONTROLLED TESTING AND STATS).. THEN I WILL BE DROPPING ALL FURTHER ADVERTISING FOR GRAND PRIVE GROUP..

    AND I WILL BE ADVISING MY MEMBERS, VISITORS AND REFERRALS WHY …

    G ordon seems to say something’s going to happen but rarely does it

    A ny affiliate program that can’t report stats for an affiliate is just
    N o use at all and with all my experiences of affiliate programs this is the
    D umbest ‘improvement’ exercise I’ve ever seen.

    P ossibly, the idea was to annoy affiliates with many players over the years.
    R easlistically I believe that either … my
    I ncomes went down because of player disappointments or some
    V ery crafty rigging of my stats has resulted in my
    E arnings reducing and reducing since the implementation of Grand Prive Affs.

    (woooh – that was kinda fun lol)

    I’m just sick of ‘waiting and waiting’ – everyone has been very tolerant and understanding I think but personally I’ve had enough. May be that was the goal – one less affiliate that worked hard (and even stuck by them during some of their more difficult times) in the past that they can just take off the pay-roll.

    Two or three days now … the count down is on ;)

    Hi Casinocrush,

    We definitely don’t want you dropping any links, nor do we want to take you ‘off the pay-roll’.

    I’ve been sitting with the Microgaming guys over the past 2 days trying to resolve this, amongst other affiliate queries regarding not being able to view reports. Been going through loads of detail, trouble shooting if you will.

    I’m going to need your help here.

    They’ve requested some info from you:-

    1. Go to command prompt and type ‘tracert http://www.grandpriveaffiliates.com’
    Once run, copy the report(file–>edit–>Select all then file–>edit–>copy and paste into notepad), take a screen shot it and send it both
    2. What operating system and browser are you using? Are you on a .net framework 2?

    This info should help them resolve.

    Your help in this matter is greatly appreciated.

    That information does not help at all…. It would matter if MGS or YOUR servers were running properly patched .NET Frameworks, but not the end user. Not unless you are sending out .exe files to view your stats now.

    Thanks for the reply (and for the email which I’ll respond to also).

    I’m rather stunned when you say you’ve been with the Microgaming guys for the last 2 days looking into this – makes me wonder what was happening over the last 3-4 months lol but well any progress (or at least contact with progress) is better than none — so moving onwards and upwards again I hope :)

    I did the tracert thing and will send that to you over email. Now I understand moreso that they are suggesting this is a client-side scripting or something error I looked into that using the Firefox browser (I usually use IE7).

    I actually spotted that when I look at the error log (Tools->Error Console) that in fact it does show Javascript error (which may help)..

    (Note: this might be something irrelevant because when I cleared the error log and re-tried the report – I didn’t get the error again – but maybe it will help.)

    I’ve tried various OS and browsers and up until today, had no luck. BUT …

    I did try this on another PC today and it worked!!!

    OK so it appears to be my PC!!
    (BUT! it’s the same on 4-5 other machines I’ve tried before).. AND well every other affiliate program I work with – ALL work just fine…

    I don’t know what exactly they are using to write the code but obviously it’s not so robust over different clients which (well with my experience), is the reason that most places use mostly server side scripting (which it looks to me that this is heavily dependent on the client architecture).

    OK, my current system is Windows Vista Home Premium
    I have tried it using both IE7 and Firefox 2.0.0.6 and get the same.
    I do also run Norton 360 Antivirus/Firewall on this system but I’ve tried disabling that and still get the same results.

    So, now I’m wondering is it perhaps the version of Javascript that I’m running – and if that’s the case – what are the minimum requirements for the Grand Prive site to work (my laptop is only a few months old and I always install the latest updates for everything).

    I would think it might help to keep this going on the forum so that we can see progress, and well you never know – another affiliate might be having exactly the same problem etc etc.

    PLEASE keep me posted without me having to come along here and whine – I really don’t enjoy it – I just want to see things progress in a timely manner.

    Anyways, I’ll send you the tracert thing via email.

    Great! Im glad you were at least able to view your reports. K, maybe not on your PC, but still.

    Just to let you know in the interim, the version of java & the javascript error you got have little or nothing to do with it.

    On the PC that it worked, what is the OS & browser you used on that?

    Hi Gordon,

    As per the email I sent you ..

    The OS and browser on the PC where I had success are exactly the same as on my PC.

    Our firewalls used are different (on the PC’s not working I was using Norton 360 / Internet Security), the PC where it was working was the Trend Micro solution.

    I did disable the Firewall stuff temporarily but that didn’t work. I don’t really want to have to uninstall it just to test if that’s the solution for just one out of a hundred+ affiliate stats sites that do work ok (and thinking about it – some of the virtual PCs I tried it on had no firewall at all)..

    I really hope you will have something working for me soon.
