    to prevent/undo this add
    META NAME=”ROBOTS” CONTENT=”NOODP”
    in between these <>
    (the board didnt accept the proper/full metatag,lol)
    to your head section

    it’s easy if you use entities.
    to get <
    would be: (without the spaces)
    & lt ;
    and of course the > would be:
    & gt ;

    Have you ever been the victim of Murphy’s Law?

    Aside from a long summer of “what can go wrong will go wrong” my lastest events include:

    one of my commissions ending up in a non-existing Moneybookers account.

    Seeing the clown that plagherized my retail site listed directly below me in Google for my main keyword.

    If that wasn’t bad enough the last two days my retail sales came to screeching halt. It turns out that Google in all it’s technical wisdom decided yesterday to change my retail site’s description to a very old DMOZ regional listing from 2004 which is no longer related to the site but keep the site’s current name, of course right at the busy season.

    I used to have a poster on my wall a few years ago of Murphy’s Law and a list of things that would be put under the law… I would have to say that most of the things on the list have happened to me at one stage…

    If you ask my friends, I am the unluckiest person in the world. I am petrified of sharks and often say that if there were 1000 people in the beach (where there are no sharks), and I was right in the middle, a shark would come out of nowhere and I would be the person that would be eaten. Far out I know, but that’s how I feel sometimes.. Every time I go out in a group of people I’m always the one who gets the crappy end of the stick.
    So I’m hearing you. The best thing to do is stay in bed on days like that :tongue:

    Murphy’s law has always puzzled me as to why it affects some people more than others and I’ve read quite a few books about a similar law, called the Law of Attraction, and there was even a film documentary about it called the secret.

    Basically its an idea that we attract everything in our life, including happiness and success, as well as unlucky situations and things going wrong.

    While I think there are inconsistencies to the law, like situations where we have no control (such as a payment being sent to a non-existent moneybookers account or being eaten by sharks while everyone else is unharmed), there is also a law of counter intentions, that is supposed to explain, that the Law of Attraction, is always working, even when we believe it isn’t.

    So let’s correct Murphy and think using the Law of Attraction

    “Whatever can go right will go right, and at the best possible time, in the best possible way”. :tongue:

    Mate you definitely have the right idea… but I think there is a bigger law that will overcome the Murphys Law Reversal…

    That is Darwin’s Theory of Natural Selection.

    In fact, I can’t believe it hasn’t kicked in with some people. This is why I must be the unluckiest person alive.. because there are people out there who do the stupidest things, and I’m the one who gets f***ed over… c’mon Darwin! Do us proud and get rid of the stupid people! LOL

    Law of Attraction – I guess thats the reason I attract dickheads when I go out on the weekend LOL

    I watched “The Secret” (was forced too), and you only attract what is on your mind, so it’s really just your own fault Renee. Us d*ckheads don’t just go up to people randomly, you know.

    Hehehhe smart ass :P

    Maybe it’s that I’m thinking ‘I hope this dickhead next to me doesn’t start talking to me’ coz I’m definitely not thinking of boys when I go out :)

    I am EXTREMELY impulsive, so I make a lot of things happen that enter my mind (mostly things that I want), but only to regret the hasty decision later. I guess that’s all part of learning the secret.
