patmclukMemberI asked the exact same question of my colleagues around the desk yesterday – no useful answers I’m afraid but I’d be very interested to know too

InactiveThe right mousemat Dom is of course very important but also make sure the way you work includes breaks, different routines as well as plenty of offline as well as online work. This will help prevent RSI and other related conditions.

InactiveI have gotten into some better habits with the advent of a new puppy a year ago – had to get up every hour to take him outside for potty training. I don’t have to do that anymore, but the habit stuck and I step outside every couple hours and pluck some weeds or snip something or whatever catches my eye.
Still, I do spend at least 10 and more like 13 hours on the computer 7 days a week, with these short breaks strewn in.
I started closing down an hour before dark so I can grill dinner outside and have a life after work, but that just makes me get up real early to check on things, lol!

InactiveOk, first one I am testing has come in – a Belkin Wave rest. And it’s a huge difference. The 3M was also a gel, but it was hard and the wrist rest was quite high and round. This one is much softer and the wrist rest is wider and flatter. So far it makes a huge difference, I feel no strain at all.
