Hi Cpays,
An affiliate of yours, with the ID of “poppers” has stolen some of my content.
Please look at this Google search result:
http://www.google.com/search?num=100&hl=en&lr=&safe=off&q=%22Welcome+to+New+Online+Slots%21%22&btnG=SearchI own the first site, http://www.newonlineslots.com. “Poppers” owns the second site.
When you click on his link, you are redirected to a different URL, casino-geek.be. (I might add that the Casino Geek name is also being infringed upon here — the original Casino Geek site belongs to Fergie, a long time CAP member).
Anyway — your casinos appear on casino-geek.be.
You need to view the cached version of his blogspot page to see the copyright infringement. View the cached version at this URL:
xhttp://64.233.167.104/search?q=cache:szwh-0brsHAJ:new-online-slots-2.blogspot.com/+%22welcome+to+new+online+slots%22&hl=en&gl=us&ct=clnk&cd=2
This affiliate has also stolen text from another site I own. Please view this search result:
http://www.google.com/search?num=100&hl=en&lr=&safe=off&q=%22As+new+online+slots+are+added+the+older+ones+disappear+from+the+site%22&btnG=SearchI own http://www.modernslots.com; poppers owns the second site on this list.
The third one on the list (casinos.501mpegs.com) is also guilty of stealing my text, but I can’t locate his affiliate ID.
Please help.

July 26, 2006 at 5:03 am #699947AnonymousInactiveHere are some more blogs that redirect to cpays brands. when you have time take a look. The list is a modest one, lots of content theft. I decided to leave out the one with questionable subjects. greek39^*

August 1, 2006 at 6:56 pm #700707AnonymousInactiveContacting an affiliate and asking them to remove stolen content is like patching a hole in a bucket with a sieve.
More often than not, these types of affiliates are running dozens – if not hundreds – of sites, all ‘borrowing’ content from legitimate sites.
All they’ll do after being contacted and given a list of pages where they are publishing stolen content, is to remove those pages and only those pages.
I feel strongly that when an affiliate is caught red handed with stolen content, and it is proven beyond any doubt that they have stolen it, their accounts should be closed. Period.
I don’t understand how such theft is tolerated, and how giving them a limp slap on the wrist by asking for specific content to be removed can be considered a solution. IMO, this approach condons the theft.
August 1, 2006 at 7:57 pm #700721AnonymousInactiveI agree 100% Fergie, but I think that these programs (namely CPays and 888) are just having the aff drop their copied content and keeping their accounts open.
If they truly stopped this shit, then we wouldn’t see THEIR casinos spread all over the internet like garbage. It’s disgusting and just perpetuates the SPAM nature of so many gambling sites. Makes online casinos look like trash in general.
You wonder why people are looking for casino reviews? Because of all the trash that is out there. SPAM = I am going to get taken advantage of = I don’t trust casinos
Good work CPays – your casinos are now beating 888 as worst spammed casinos on the internet. Great work in fostering the Senators attitudes against online gambling :banger:
August 1, 2006 at 8:20 pm #700724AnonymousInactiveCpays is in the top SERPs for casino review/s and bonus related keywords and other stuff I couldn´t be asked to look up. They are really challenging 888 as the most corrupt program. It seems like some programs can´t resist the temptation of pulling in short term profits rather than fostering profitable long-term relationships with honest affiliates.
If you partner with honest affiliates you will have a higher player value because the player will find a casino that suits him. But short sighted strategies will come back to haunt you one day.August 1, 2006 at 8:40 pm #700728AnonymousInactiveI am about 2 steps away from blogging about CPays just like we did for 888. I can tell you that in the over 2 months that the 888 blog has been up – the stats are:
Over 2000 pageviews
31 search terms
**Edit (almost forgot – 9 signups to other casinos)And that does NOT include people coming from CAP, from other portals. That is from keyword searches

How can they be so short sighted.
August 11, 2006 at 3:10 am #701759AnonymousInactiveGood choice! and beleive me I have a lot of crap to back this up. For anchor perhaps “cpays and casinopays” and all their properties. Why should we rogue their brand?
1. Unethical devious marketing such as the latest seo competition.
2. No resolution to problems cited on the cpay thread.
3. Failure to comply with SE’s standards and guidelines.
4. Endorsing content theft by BH practices. In general just plain running a rogue operation, dishonest and unprincipled. I don’t have time to set anything up right now, but will in the near future.
Cpays policy on spam “Our policy is zero tolerance for any kind of spam! Affiliates using spam will be banned” yeah right!:spam:
But need not fear Vegas is almost here!! greek39
