InactiveReally? There are so many rumors about wallets nowadays, like what really happened to ewalletexpress? They are down, some operators say they got a letter that states federal orders were issued for them to stop, a lot of people say they were seized, yet there is no public record and no news at all.

rialto.melinaMemberI do not think ewallet express has anything to do with moneybookers changing their name and for rebranding.

Terrible name indeed! Reminds me of that 80’s movie “Skrull”… I mean, rebranding is useful in some cases, but at least make sure the name is catchy, logical, cool or something positive at least.

mezelfMemberI believe the idea is to get a unique word such that they can brand a “verb” a la “google.”

InactiveI am really surprised MoneyBookers went this route.
‘Skrill’ is an American slang for money – see here: Urban Dictionary: skrill
I definitely don’t think the connotation they’re after by using this term will be beneficial to them.
