IE, I know some websites use adbrite, some use linkshares, some use adsense only etc.. but, I’m wondering if someone here knows what works.

Yea try signing up with a media/PPC ad company like Bidvertiser, Azoogle, or something like ClickBooth. They always have decent programs to push, and they offer different marketing campaigns such as email, PPC, and your standard banner ads you can place on your site.
People really do click on those banners? I’ve become so used to ignoring them that I barely notice them except when they’re really annoying, like the one asking you if you’re scared of knowing your future..
Do you make good money with it or it’s just a bonus? I’ve seen a lot of “adsense websites” for sale that get a couple thousand uniques per month and generate about 100$/month worth of profit, which is pretty bad.
Thanks for the info guys, I figure that if I’m going to spend a lot of time in it and invest in building that website, it has to be worth it.

Do you guys think it’d be better to set up my own set of referral banners from non-gambling related stuff like meeting sites / credit-card companies, instead of going with one of the advertisement conglomerates?It’s good for a couple of $100 per month. Although, I’ve got them on 3 of my sites (http://www.24-7wagering.com, http://remedyguidance.com, and http://www.HitAlert.com)
