GuestHi,
I’m the furthest from being any kind of PC expert but I seem to recall having same problem a while back and was told it might be my firewall, or virus protection, something to that effect.
edited to add: and I also seem to recall after shutting off the advised protection, that it worked for me.

InactiveI use avg protection, and up until about 2 weeks ago, I never had a problem. So something changed in the equation to make my computer start doing this. I really am not too keen on shutting down my protection, I am going to go to microsoft website and do a little research if nothing solid comes up here. Thanks for the reply bbs. I guess it could be worse with no computer access. I do think they are all a piece of shit though. Ive gone through 3 in the past couple of years, granted one of them was my putting my fist through it. Suppossed to be able to do thousands of things a second my ass, my others couldn’t do two things at once lol.

InactiveYou could try to defragment your c drive and then restart your computer. That may help.

InactiveWell, ever since I upgraded to IE7, I have also received those errors. I think that there is a setting you need to configure in order to view certain pages. For example upgrade your java viewing program as I have noticed these “this program needs to close” errors on pages like that in particular.

InactiveThanks a bunch occ. I just deleted IE7 all together and I have not received an error today. That was driving me nuts.

InactiveI received very regular similar errors, but only in Internet Explorer, a while back. Took me weeks to locate the problem: turned out to be the Google Toolbar – when I uninstalled it, problem gone.
