Are you sure this is correct? Both Awesome Jackpots and Jackpot Graphs are displaying the same values on these pages:

This was recently added – however if you go to the following page, you will see the accurate information.http://www.awesomejackpots.com/software/Microgaming/chart.html

Cash Splash is an interesting one. The text on both our sites says the value is $10,046; but your ticker says $25,200 (roughly, at this moment), and at All Slots (and Golden Reef, too), the value is $6,106.
I hope MGS gets this fixed soon. I hate seeing flat-lined graphs on my site!
Again it may depend what page you are referencing. I assume you are looking at the numbers inside the casino software itself. If so, then it is possible that these are right – however, if you watch them, you will notice that the tickers turn over at a rate of 1 cent per second – and you know that cannot be right for Cashsplash.
I suspect the whole system is messed up. AJ’s numbers will be right for any jackpot which has not been hit since that time ( I make it Dec. 16th). AJ’s numbers, however, may be inaccurate for jackpots which have fallen since that time (meaning our feed also holds inaccurate data) – but I should point out that AJ matches Jackpot Madness if you look at the list of pulldowns – and that JM’s flash presentation at the top of the page is blank – meaning no data.

InactiveHas anyone contacted Microgaming and Jackpot Madness about this issue? In the past, I was always quick to send emails to the providers when the feeds were inaccurate. This time I haven’t bothered yet.

InactiveI’d like to thank Engineer for the timing of this thread, i was having an impossible time trying to find decent MG tickers, just the numbers feed like Spearmaster has on the link above.
I still can’t find any that work, except for the Golden Star ones, i think that’s something that affiliate programs should work on in the new year, improving the quality of jackpot tickers and variety, make simplified feed scripts and improve the load times, ticker pages take too long to load.
And
I bought the domain progressiveslotsjackpots.com after reading this thread, i was surprised to see it available with all u sharpies around.

GuestHi all,
I may be mistaken ….. but I think it was Spear that originally made the tickers. if anybody knows ……. (if I’m correct) ……. its likely Spear.
Nick……. I may be correct … or not ….. but my understanding is that …… we don’t make money on any slot game that is progressive…
please someone correct if I’m wrong. I do understand even if the above it correct…… its still a situation where we will gain because players won’t always be playing progressives.
Just wanted Nick to be cautious as to how much time and consideration is put in…….. if I am correct….. and not saying I am. hell….I’m often wrong.
Nick…..if wrong….. at least give me credit for trying to do you right. fair enough?

InactiveHey BB1, Merry Christmas man
I can’t imagine anyone not making money because players choose to play progressive slots, it’s a game just like any other
My understanding is that there is a seperate pool for the progressives, so if a player should hit the jackpot the casino doesn’t accept responsibility for payment in full, but instead the software provider pays it out.
But not all the money bet on the progressive slots goes towards the jackpot pool, only a small percentage goes towards the jackpot, the rest is gaming revenue for the casino just like the other games
I could be wrong but that’s how i presumed it was done

InactiveOk.
Something has definitely changed with regards to MGS jackpots. AJ has the correct numbers for jackpots which have not been hit since Dec. 16th – but for jackpots which have been hit, the numbers are not accurate. I can tell because CashSplash (according to my site) has not been hit since the 16th, and I know that this is simply impossible.
I haven’t had time to look at the issue – but I surmise that currently the only accurate numbers are the ones shown in the casino software itself.
BB1 – AJ is a spinoff from Got2Bet – and on Got2Bet I was the first to introduce jackpot tickers with the “Choose Casino” pulldowns – which was the inspiration for Jackpot Madness, the first manufacturer-operated progressive site, which subsequently spawned the competition’s Jackpot Mania and Win A Jackpot.
The actual ticker concept, though (without pulldowns) was first seen on Microgaming’s CashSplash site. I contacted MGS about getting a data feed and they created one for me.
JF and Gaming Club were the first Microgaming operators online – thus they were the first to have the feeds after Got2Bet (although obviously they existed before Got2Bet).

InactiveMicrogaming seems to have fixed the problem. Jackpot values and graphs on my site are updating again.
