InactiveAlso, please do not block access to the casino websites. Please only block the ability to register real-money accounts.

InactiveHey guys
As you know, some ISPs route through other places.. I dont think this can be avoided unfortunately..
Although, I cant say for sure this is the issue here, but I think it would be the most likely answer as to why states not on the banned list are being blocked…
Either way ill let the IT guys know that a couple are having issues and if its something they can fix, im sure they will be right on it..
If its MGS blocking the IPs, they will have to log the job with MGS.October 31, 2008 at 2:56 am #784896Anonymous
InactiveUpdate – I’ve been told its MGS that is blocking these on login. So nothing we can actually do from our end. I’ve asked the guys to contact MGS to see if anything can be done…
Otherwise, tell your players to disable their internet connection and then enable it again.. The modem/router *should* allocate a new IP (unless they are on a static address of course) and that should fix the problem. Unless of course they are allocated another IP in a banned state..

InactiveI have heard this has gone on and for some it cannot be avoided…
BUT
Tell your players not to worry and to contact the CS team at the particular casino and if they are clued up (like ours) they will sort out that player with limited disruption. You must stress to the player that casinos are under pressure to get this sorted and understand that if they have been blocked and they are not in a banned state (namely Kentucky) they have nothing to worry about and a simple call or email to our CS team will sort it.
As Renee said MG are taking care of this for most if not all casinos so hang in there and it’ll get cleared up pretty sharpish!

In most cases we don’t know how to contact the players though

In which case they will come direct to the casino.
That was in reference to those that have players kicking off with the wrong people.
