Mansion owe me around $1,000 and are refusing to pay me after we had a written agreement previous to traffic we sent them.

They have now made up some nonsense and are refusing to pay my CPA. I’m furious and cannot believe such a big company are being such fraudsters, I have worked hard developing an offline team to promote you guys are offline events as I already mentioned to your affiliate manager.

I simply cannot even think about pushing your brand if you are going to start making rules up AFTER we have already brought you players. This has cost me an arm and a leg..

I look forward to a reponse.. and payment!!!

Hi EnjoyPoker,

I really don’t like doing this in public, but you don’t leave me much of a choice as you are taking this to the forums. You sent clearly fraudulent traffic in violation of our terms and conditions. I believe you discussed this with your account mansion more than once.

If you would like to discuss this with me, ping me and I’ll give you a ring.

Thanks,
David

I can’t belive this.

I would like to put a few emails I received from your affiliate manager in this thread so everyone can see that this is blatently dishonour to a written agreement.

Dear ***,

Thank you for your e-mail regarding CPA deals on Mansion.

We usually offer these kinds of CPAs to our top affiliates only. Can you give me an idea as to how many first time depositing players you could send us per month?

I would be willing to have a ‘trial’ period with you at $150 CPA. We can then review the CPA deal after 4 weeks.

Let me know of your thoughts on this.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Kind regards,

Hi ***,

Looking at statistics we would probably bring on board about 15-20 new depositing players on the trial period. This would be us sending our normal high-quality traffic, if you like what you see we would send our private members over to test your waters.

We are happy to run a trial as long as you will honour our $200 CPA (on minimum deposit) for the first 4 weeks with no restrictions such as player points etc. (We cannot accept anything lower than $200)

Your exposure would be flyers, advertisements in all our offline promotions for tournaments, buy-ins and events. We also run a chain of high-traffic sites.

Kind Regards,

Hi ***,

Thanks for the information.

Would your traffic be for Poker or Casino, I am asking as we have 2 products with 2 different sites, one being MansionPoker.com and the other Casino.com.

Would you also promote us via a website with banners or via a mailer?

Regards,

=========MY REPLY=============

It would be via offline promotion, banners and emails. Mainly offline promotion.

All poker.

=========MANSION REPLY==========

Hi ***,

OK that’s great, could you send me a few details so that I can set up your account:

Company billing address
Contact Telephone numbers
Your website/s where you will be promoting our banners etc…

Kind regards,

Another broken agreement. I had really high hopes of building a good relationship with Mansion as we had many good ideas in the pipeline. I would love it if you would pay what is owed and we could have a phone discussion regarding how to move forward (my phone calls are also being ignored).

From what the email states from your own employee we have a written agreement that a trial has been run during this period, you cannot then decide to refuse payment.

Any feedback would be great. I don’t want to have to put you down as another fraudalent poker room. Owned indeed…

I suspect so. It seems far too often affiliate sites offer these cpa’s to only find an excuse to not pay the affiliate. Been there – done that! The mere fact that they have posted in this thread claiming fraudulent players and then not clarifing it suggests they are not following through with promises made.

I suspect it is due to your players not making enough repeat deposits and thier lack of player retention to be the root cause for not making good on payment.

I’d suggest you advise your members and post fact on your site. If they are not going to make good on payment then players need to know asap as last thing we as affiliates need is our players thinking we sent them to a rogue site! If they find excuses to not pay an affiliate then they will most definatly find a reason to justify non payment to players.

I know I’ll be watching this one for a reasonable and proveable reply!

Thanks for getting involved in this thread.

We had our players exicted by the fact we were going to move over to Mansion, as they as such a big skin and the promotions would have been great. I told the affiliate manager we needed this first payment to kick start our campaigns and start to run some tournaments to bring in even more.. but as you can see this never happened.

Obviously the players are not playing anymore, as I told them that Mansion wern’t paying up – and loyal as they are they stopped straight away. So if Mansion are waiting to see more deposits, or improved rake before they pay me.. this isn’t going to happen.

All in all, this is a broken written agreement, and if they have any hope in me promoting them again I will need payment ASAP. :sarcasm:

Good Morning Fraser,

You still haven’t pinged me.

Out of the five players you sent, two accounts are you and a family member, one has completely fake details, and all five have the exact same deposit amount (minimum) and play pattern. According to your email of November 24th, all of these referred players are your friends. No player has responded to verification requests.

We have ample reason to believe that you are abusing the CPA arrangement, against our terms and conditions http://affiliates.mansion.com/terms.html. As you have been told, if players are verified/playing pattern improves, your account will be unfrozen.

Mansion is a multinational company that pays out millions in affiliate commissions. We are one of the only programs to have a twice monthly payment option, we have many good, personal and mutually profitable relationships with our valued partners, we sponsor London’s Tottenham Hotspur football squad, and produced the only Emmy award winning poker show in history, “Poker Dome”. We will not, however, be squeezed on a public forum to pay a grand for traffic that is very likely fraudulent.

Kind Regards,
David

Hahahaha! Properly owned! Brilliant, David – thank you for exposing this guy as a fraudulent halfwit. It’s important that characters like this get exposed.

Whilst programs and operators get banned and rogued for the slightest indiscretion, it rarely happens to players or affiliates for what actually amounts to libel.

How about we ban this muppet? Dom? Lou?

Give me a break.

and all five have the exact same deposit amount (minimum)

Your company agreed to these terms –

We are happy to run a trial as long as you will honour our $200 CPA (on minimum deposit) for the first 4 weeks with no restrictions such as player points etc.

all of these referred players are your friends.

I don’t understand the problem with this? Many big affiliate forums are based around community.

No player has responded to verification requests.

Don’t believe you.

if players are verified/playing pattern improves, your account will be unfrozen.

As I said, none of my players will be playing at Mansion until I receive some sort of payment.

one has completely fake details

I’ll chat to you on the phone about this claim.

two accounts are you and a family member

AS it states in your terms “11.4 All promotions can only be claimed once per person, household, family, household address, email address, credit card number, or shared computer environment such as a library, workplace, fraternity, university or school.” I’m happy to agree.

But you still owe me $800. :)

While I don’t promote Mansion as my chosen poker room for multiple reasons, you can not fault David’s response here – kudos to the man.
1) He replies and says ‘lets take this offline’ (as you always should)
2) After you then post some emails from a back and forth (clearly ignoring the footer on all emails, stating do NOT post in public place as most do) he comes back and points out you are yet to follow up with him directly, and then points out exactly the issues as they see it.
3) You then try to pick holes in his reply. Any Aff worth a grain of salt can see you are pretty much full of BS and are floggin dodgy traffic (friends and family)
4) Basically your hand got caught in cookie jar –

Do us all a favor and let this one go – David and his guys are clearly trying to build up a team and a program that was previously run into the ground – there are more inherrant issues that he needs to fix.
Sit down and be quite on this one.
