Notepad  I wish I were so savvy!

Yes, I find trying to keep up with multiple websites to be extremely time consuming … even though I do use Dreamweaver on my PC or Adobe GoLive on my Mac.

I look forward to the day when I can find someone reliable and reasonable to turn some of the work over to … but for now I am pretty much tied to my computers 12 to 16 hours a day.

IMO, most CMS aren’t really designed with the user in mind. A lot of them are made by really talented programmers that are caught up in designing new features with very little attention to the actual application of those new features.

Try checking out CMS Matrix and if you can’t find what you want, consider having a custom CMS made.

yes thats exzactly what I thought when browsing various CMS websites, although it looks like version 5 of mambo will allow multiple webstes (I am currently using it for 1 website and it is really good and in the future will save me a lot of time)

    Hi Deanimus,

The best way to do this is run the basic information that changes from a central database (or flat files) and use PHP or Perl to create the pages. I do that with my sites so one update covers everything. However, if yours are HTML then….

…take a look at http://www.casinofeed.info which i’ve put together for exactly this type of scenario. Its in its infancy but it will mean all the bonuses and promos from all the casinos you represent (as they come onboard) will be served to your site in “real-time” with javascript so you actually won’t need to update your websites on that front if you prefer less hassle :)

We Beta tested it with data from Referback, 32Red and VPL and it went well, so in December we’re rolling it out to some live sites and starting to talk to other affiliate programs about it – so feel free to give it a try, the data is “Live” data – it’s real easy to put up and should make life easier – hopefully!!

I’d just ask you send me the URL if you do as I’m compiling a links page of example sites that are involved and a Press Release for January.

    Hope that’s useful.

    Cheers,

    Simmo!

Caign webs have a really good CMS solution for managing multiple websites. One central admin facility can publish to one, some or all websites in one hit. Users have single signon to all websites.

You guys are just too advanced. A central database to update websites..

    Using dreamweaver? Notepad?

I’m still doing it by hand using frontpage!
