InactiveI asked this question a while back, and the consensus seemed to be that most people don’t make very much money from sub-affiliates, and not to spend too much time or effort on marketing it.
I tend to agree with this. I was an account manager for an affiliate program in another industry for three years, and out of 100 affiliates signed up, I was luck to find 20 that would even make a nominal effort to market the site. And of those 20, maybe 1 or 2 would actually generate some revenue.
Now that being said, I wouldn’t suggest ignoring this revenue stream entirely. I just wouldn’t count on it to pay any bills.

InactiveI agree with Randy.
I make barely anything from referrals. It is not worth going all out for.
I’ll post a link when people seem to be looking, but with all the subaffiliates I have gathered over the years, I make practically nothing from them.

vladcizsolMemberI generated thousands of sub affiliate sign ups over the years at various programs including most of the large well established ones and I earned VERY little in 2nd tier income. That was the reason CAP switched to a paid inclusion format, it seemed the only way to generate enough revenue to pay the bills and make it worth all the time invested.

InactiveAnd then there’s always the problem that all those years you spent refering webmasters was for nothing since the program became a lame duck. Some examples in casinos are casinos coins and referback.

InactiveReferback still seems to generate consistantly and well without marketing at all, one of my better programs.

InactiveEven if you get a decent affiliate, you only receive 2-5% of the generated income depending on the program. It’s more financially rewarding spending the time promoting the casinos themselves and getting 25% of the generated income.
