My daughter made me laugh this morning when she was doing impressions of the divers in the Olympics. She is only 20 months old and was raising her arms up then throwing them down going “SPLASH”. You had to be there and be her parents to appreciate it I think.

:roflmao: hahaha, thats quite a slam in the face. looks like the guy didnt expect it to land on his nose… reminds me of that incident when chelsea played man utd towards the end of last season, and drogba kneed vidic in the nose which knocked him out for a bit…

after reading the article above, the war between georgia and russia might begin to seem like a diversion setup by US to keep russia busy, while they create a naval blockade of iran. for those of you interested, here is a good summary of what in the world is happening in that region. all the shit i’ve been hearing on cnn, bbc, fox, and other western media has been very biased towards georgians, in other words propaganda. so far this is the only balanced view i’ve read in popular media – http://www.guardian.co.uk/commentisfree/2008/aug/09/georgia.russia1 . i guess it takes a university professor to get his facts right, journalists are not too interested in that one…
apparently there is a popular notion of freedom of press, which doesn’t exist neither in russia nor in the west. seems like the only way to have freedom of press is if you OWN the press!
