Just wanted to add here that is well known that Google employees go to digital point posing as link buyers to catch people selling and buying links.Things to look for -a gmail address and 0 feedback history.I know this as fact , don’t ask me how(at least a dozen of seo people who do link building for clients agree on this) and today i got sent an email from a person here on cap that left me wondering if they are here too.
Here are the rules I have for myself when we do link exchanges , buys or sells.
– Always ask the person to email you FROM THE DOMAIN THEY ARE BUYING FOR
– Never deal with third party buyers ,they tend to be sloppy and do not care about getting you in trouble
– Never agree to post ‘small text with 2-3 links on your site as these guys are lazy and probably have 100 other sites with that content out there.true way for google to spot a link buy.Most Casinos are guilty of this because they hire lazy SEO guys to mass buy for them.Finally link buying is part of SEO and Ranking , if you get links from gambling sites to gambling sites we are not doing anything wrong , Google encourages us to exchange and get links. Don’t be paralised by the fear mongers out there:)

What they can do if they found someone doing Link Buying and selling?google will wipe your site from the planet if they can prove you sell links , seems the BUYERS sites get a pass in most cases although i did get nailed in 2008 for buying a pr9 link hahaha
