InactiveThanks for the recommendation AussieDave. I’ll definitely have to try it on a few sites and see how I go. The only thing I’m wondering is if I should redirect the would-be hackers to my homepage, or to slow loading, pop-up infested website

Personal, I’ve been redirecting them to zzzhttps://www.projecthoneypot.org/ a bot capturing site. I wouldn’t redirect them to my home page. But that’s your choice of course.

It uses a quasi re-write method to mask the actual URL. Instead of wp-login.php, it becomes wp-login.php?blahyadda-blahyadda (or whatever you want it to be).
If a bot or a anyone tried to access yourdomain.com/wp-login.php and not the masked URL, it redirects to whatever URL you set. Meaning, these scum bags don’t even get the chance to view the login page

Top Betting LinesMemberCheers for the plugin hint Aussie Dave, great stuff.
I’ll give it a go as well, even though I haven’t been affected yet, at least from what I can see…
One question though – does this mean, you don’t require other security plugins anymore, like the one you mentioned, WordFence? Is securing the login page good enough to keep them low-lifes off your back or would you still recommend running a plugin alongside such as WordFence or Website Devender?
Thanks again and all the best

You still need to use WordFence or whatever security plugin your using. Stealth Login Page only prevents hackers, bots etc etc gaining access to your wp-login page.
If these scum bags can’t gain access to the wp-login.php then they can’t attempt Brute Force attacks to gain access. As an example, try this:
