InactiveClarifications & questions:
Quote:most new players playing the new video slotDoes this mean most first-time registrations/deposits, or most people trying out Tomb Raider regardless of status?
Also – the tier thingy – let’s say someone in the 35% tier manages 50 players, and someone in the 25% tier manages 200 players.
I like your idea because it gives affs at all levels a chance. But I think you also need to make some sort of allowance for the possibility that someone in the low tiers may do better than someone in the higher tiers.

InactiveHi Ted
That will be covered in the T&Cs when they go live on the site tomorrow. But yes, if somebody from a lower tier does better than somebody in a higher tier then they will take their prize.
In terms of the type of player that qualifies, they must be new players during the month that wager at least $100 on Tomb Raider.
Cheers
Tim

InactiveDo you have Tomb Raider™ banners/popups/mailers available?

InactiveHi Brian
Yes they’re available from the marketing tools section of the WagerShare website. I also sent some out with the newsletter, I’m just on my way to the office now and I’ll send some banners to you when I get there.
Cheers
Tim

InactiveI can’t save the creatives onto my own computer for uploading to my server – it always tries to save as a bitmap instead of a gif.
Any way you can fix that?

InactiveHi Ted
You’re experiencing an old Internet Explorer glitch which for some reason Microsoft have never addressed. You need to clear your temporary files and cache and then Ctrl+F5 the marketing tools page. You’ll then be able to save the graphics as gifs.
I’ll also send over a zip file with the banners.
Cheers
Tim

InactiveCheck your email
I did this from two different locations, plus I can save gifs fine from any other location.October 28, 2004 at 11:06 am #656778Anonymous
InactiveIn which case it must be because there are so many banners on the page. I can save them as .gifs as I just cleared my cache but I will talk to the developers about creating a paging system for the marketing tools.
I’ve sent you some banners via email Ted and if you would like more info about the IE bug whilst we make the changes to our banner system please check here:

InactiveI’ve run into the .bmp problem before. It seems to clear up on reboot, as much fun as that is…

InactiveIf it is clearing up on reboot, that’s the cache problem Tim was referring to earlier. I know exactly what that one is.
Unfortunately, in this case it has nothing to do with a reboot – they’re still looking at it to see if they can solve it. Plus, as I said earlier, there is no difficulty saving gifs from any other location.
Anyhow, Tim was kind enough to send me the creatives and they are also looking at modifying their system, so really that’s all one should and could expect

InactiveTrue enough.

Good luck with the competition!
