ZlzmbmaxMemberHey There!
I’d say that both pages have way too much going on to operate as effective Landing Pages. At the moment they are simply extended web pages like any other.
A Landing Page should have one specific aim or call to action – in this case to download the client software. At present the only download option is a small one top right and another text link at the bottom. I would recommend making these the focus of the whole page along with one, perhaps two other related messages, such as security, bonus – whatever.
By having all the other links around on the page your viewers have the chance to branch off and drift away from your stated aim.

Inactiveyou can tell hodgeyboy has been in the business over 60 years!
I totally agree with him, there is too much other stuff going on. If its a general landing page you need to send the customer to the message you want them to see from a specific banner.
E.G. Your banner says £100 bonus from clicking this the player wants to land on a page that says £100 bonus click here to get it with some eye candy.
These pages you show here are simply another page to your site with no specific target.
Get your designers to focus on the deal or whatever your promotion is and throw that in the faces of the visitors.Look to take away most if not all of that navigation as well. As my doctor said to me once, you dont want too many unwanted leaks now!
