I got myself a bed in the backroom of some hooker lady.
It’s very close to the conference and cost-efficient.
We were able to get the same rate at 2 other hotels:

Apparently, the 2nd is the problem as there is some huge conference going on.. so you might have luck splitting a reservation across a couple of places (not optimal but what the heck).

Don’t give up on the Krasnapolsky. Almost every year, like clockwork, the week before the event, rooms become available.

Casino Affiliate ConventionYes I thought about waiting.. but didn’t want to take the risk that if nothing became availible I was forced to stay somewhere far far away from damsquare..
Found a nice hotel less than 5 min. walk from the kras..
I stayed at Gran Hotel Barcino last yr for a night and was very pleased with the place you may want to look into it, I think it is like 2 blocks away not very far at all.

it’s a flight away. CAC is in Amsterdam, not Barcelona
