Inactive1.) May I refer you to bluehost
2.) Check out http://www.cross-browser.com and avoid the use of tables if possible
Megan didn´t seem very helpful. I hope you get your site configured properly with a cross browser design.
Good luck!

InactiveBluehost is nice, especially if you want to have multiple domains on one server (be careful up duplicate IP linking though).
I would hire a designer and have him spice up your site with some “liquid” tables. These move to everybody’s browser no matter what their resolution. See what I mean by clicking one of the links in my sig.

InactiveYes, liquid div designs are the way to go!

InactiveSheesh! Why not just learn to design your own sites instead of flaming your host for limitations in their design software? It ain’t rocket science!

I dabbled at it when I got started and decided that I was lousy at it, plus I hated it. So I decided to stick to what I am good at and leave the rest to others.
I am glad I did. GamesandCasino has grown to where everyone just does what they are good at, it keeps us all happy and the site thrives.

InactiveWell, maybe I was a little quick on the draw with my post. It just seems odd to get upset about limitations of a tool that was probably intended to help newbies create a 3-page site.

InactiveYes, I remember trying to make my first site at Geocities…. That’s probably what soured me on the whole design thing.

InactiveThat Bluehost looks pretty good, i’m gonna consider that, but i’m already payed up with this one, so i gotta stick with it for now
The problem is with the site builder, it can only produce pages viewable in 800×600 screen resolution mode, so i got it centered at least, and that’s the best i can do with it, my host wants $150 an hour to try and fix the problem, yeah right, they are totally useless
The problem is i have 50 websites and 1000’s of pages created with this builder, i don’t feel like editing code for every one of those pages, but i’m gonna have to
Did this site already
Aceok.com
I guess it will have to do

InactiveYou may want to think about even using an html editor like dreamweaver. As it may not be easy to start with in the long run it will make better sites that are much more powerful. It will just give you more options in the future as you won’t need to stick with your host or depend on a single program that only has limited features.

InactiveWow. That’s some pretty bad customer service right there. Atrocious.

InactiveCareful signing up with BlueHost. I took the recommendation from here then found out they do not support anything but Linux.
So now its refund time and switching over 6 sites. Lotsa fun.
Any recommendations on a host that will run windows/nt/asp and allow multiple sites?
