What is our military doing, sleeping?
Oh, no, they are in Afghanistan and Iraq with all the good equipment and all the rations. Most of the bases in the US have been closed….
I agree Dom! Our government has totally failed to take care of the suffering people in New Orleans and the Gulf. It is truly shameful that so many people have still not been evacuated.
I agree. The entire situation is awful. The devastation from the storm is horrifying enough, but the lack of response from our own government is truly beyond comprehension. It really is a shameful, embarrassing time. How could this happen??
Did anyone see the picture below? It was taken on Tuesday, August 30. While the Gulf area was suffering, and while New Orleans was descending into chaos, this is what our president was doing. He makes me sick. :angry:
Folks keep your eye on your money … Bush will double bill you for this
tragedy … by delaying the assistance YOU will be moved to send MONEY to
the Red Cross and be double billed for this since they will also send your tax
money to help them … so the delay may be partially intentional … ask
yourself … how is that for war there is never a shortage of money ??? but for
disasters they always beg you for money.
