I think it was all done for money personally. They made an absolute fortune from the whole thing (about $18 million). Even if the marriage was failing, i’m sure they could have at least tried to fix it? The whole thing is very strange and sad too. Hopefully it doesn’t encourage future generations to get a divorce when things aren’t working out.
I read that they made 250k for each day they were married… she is famous for nothing essentially (sex tape/reality TV) This (getting married) kind of is her job

Yeah I think its all a scam to get their ratings up… Even the New Jersey Nets where Humphries plays got a lot out of it… trying to get more celebrities coming to their games and all that stuff, I guess the NBA lockout kind of hurt their plans of making more money for the team!
It would also help Humphries secure a kind of star status on his team just by being married to her… Its all a scam!:huh2:Probably is a scam… It just disgusts me (as mentioned earlier) that it gives the younger generation the wrong impression on what marriage really is all about… But also, ALL that money… It can certainly be directed to a much needed cause rather than the insanity of the Kardashians and trying to build up some loser’s fame.
I have the morning TV on behind me while I work, I can listen to the news – its just clicked over to the morning gossip session. KK is in Australia at the moment (I don’t want to say her name, just in case I get struck down with the same stupidity she suffers…) … but all the talk here is now what she is going to do with her 20carat ring..
um… being as useless as she is.. she won’t give it back. Useless people! Useless! :dancecat:
