Unfortunately part of the problem is PokerStars is so big, everyone’s got accounts there, etc. that they simply don’t NEED affiliates to be successful anymore. Even “rouge-ing” them won’t really have too negative of an effect on them anymore. The poker affiliate business done been changed… time to diversify, eh?
Here’s a little write-up on what’s going down… Bottom line, not cool!
Oh, enough negative press will make a difference when there are shareholders involved..

On a related note, ESPN and other channels don’t seem to push / air Poker as much as they have in the past – is that all a result only of Black Friday or is poker actually on the decline?
