Dean I like the idea of email confirmation of new sign ups for the CPA model.

Dean, VIP Profits have a very good system for choosing the type and frequency of email notifications we receive. Such as sign ups, weekly revenue summaries and the like.

Simon, perhaps you can elaborate a bit more as I assume you set this up for them and researched what people wanted.

Firstly let me say VIP Profits was developed with the backing of a great team there at VIP Management Service and this helped in the development.

Certain affiliates like to know when they get a sale (depositing player) and for this reason the system was developed to notify them of this sale. Also weekly stats is a useful motivating factor and helpful guide to tell the affiliates how they are doing.

Personally the emailing of a depositing player is a good feature in my eyes and helps the affiliate keep track on their performance.

Developing great stats requires time and access to the database (which I assume you have since you use RTG?).

Should you choose to email the stats to players I strongly suggest you give the affiliates an opportunity to subscribe and unsubscribe and specify the frequency. Also DO NOT overdo it otherwise it will be a turnoff and not have the value it should have.

Checkout VIP Profits and the reporting section found under Banner and Copy to learn more. You will need to be a member and can signup by clicking here

Dean I have a question for you and that is when you developed Adriches did you develop the reporting in-house or use RTG’s reporting function. Also was it time consuming to build Adriches as I am working with a new RTG client as we speak and wondering how difficult it will be to develop in-house stats instead of using RTG’s.

Dean feel free to msn me (simoneaton at hotmail.com)

    Simon

thanks for your post. that affiliate system is outstanding i hadnt joined up to it before but i am very impressed.

i think you are right too much would get annoying but prehaps a notification on each player ( CPA ) as the professor agreed would be ok and a weekly report would work.

the affiliate system i used is something we have developed over the years and adapted it to the casino industry. the integration with RTG was not that diffcult at all. We set up our own database servers to mirror the gaming servers where we draw the stats from this gave us alot more flexibility in integration.

the people at rtg were very good to work with in getting it set up. i am more than happy to put you in contact with my tech guys to point you in the right direction.

    cheers

    Hi Dean,

I would appreciate it if you can send me the contact details of the people at RTG.

Also mirroring the database was exactly what we did with VIP Profits. The only question I have to ask is are the stats in real time, or is there some delay?
