Ok, now that this is in free for all where it belongs – I concur with the professor.
I too am a Republican. Big Reagan supporter, Daddy Bush supporter. Supporter of the 1st Iraq war.
Traveling in Europe and watching local TV there has me aghast. People around the globe HATE Bush and Americans by extention!
He has managed to alienate every significant ally the US had. The TV reports of Iraq are COMPLETELY different in Europe from what you see here. Unbelievably different. Who has more cause to lie?
Having close friends in Europe I was engaged in many, many conversations that left me ashamed of having chosen the US as my home country. Ashamed!
Staying home and watching domestic politics – our freedom is being eroded more and more. It is scary.
The economy is worse than ever and it shows in the rural are where I live. For instance, physicians are leaving because the local population has no insurance anymore – federal funding has stopped. There IS NO HEALTHCARE HERE! That is disgusting. Already one of my neighbors died of cancer – completely untreated.
All the federal money for him was spent on the autopsy.
There is a good possiblility I may uproot yet again and move to a country that still promises freedom to its citizens and works hard to take care of the individuals that make up a country..
Cancer, SARS, AIDS, West Nile, Mad Cow, MS, Lupus, etc etc
etc … more proof that you are loved by your government …
The U.N. and many Governments
are trying to ban vitamins … here’s one reason why.
