InactiveOur normally biggest earners are showing chargebacks and winners so far
Lots of downloads and signups and some new players, just not enough to make this month look good yet.January 19, 2004 at 4:00 am #643719Anonymous
InactiveIs anyone elses traffic down a good chunk this month?
I’m having good revenue, but traffic down a couple thousand hits a day…

InactiveWe’re definitely having the opposite. Traffic is it’s best ever on some sites and clicks/downloads/signups are at its best. It’s the winners and chargebacks that are going to hurt this month it seems.

InactiveLooks like January will be a strong month for me
… if 2004 continues like this it will be a great year.

InactiveI’m new to this forum but am keen to join in your topcis.
I’ve heard that January/ February is normally a quite time for casinos because a lot of people are paying off credit card bills etc from the christmas period.
Our business (http://www.jackpojoy.com) is currently focused on the UK market and we are still in our growth stage.
We had our record month in December and January is on target to do even better.
Maybe next year once we’ve been around longer, it might level out and our trends may fall in line with the rest of the industry?

vladcizsolMemberHello Chris
I am unsure of the market dynamics in the UK, but I traditionally do VERY well in January. In fact January through March are generally my best months. I believe this is due to more people remaining indoors during winter and thus they spend more time online and playing. Our slowest months tend to be in August and September as people go on last minute summer holidays and spend all their monies on childrens clothing and supplies for the coming school year.

InactiveThe holiday period is renowned for being a slow time of year for a lot of industries. I guess it makes sense for it to be the same for gaming.

My records for the last 3 years agree with this statement … this being the 4th year that I keep records this January is no different
than the past.

GuestHi,
my month would be average at best if not for Wagershare.
I know, it’s a surprise to me too; but they’ve been kicking butt for me for about 3 months or better.
They don’t have great conversions; but I do think they are honest. I’ve got a big player there and I think they report all the income for reasons I won’t state here.
I’m quick to slap a casino on the face or the butt, depending on the location earned.
and right now I’m pattin’ WS’s ass.
just thought I’d pass along what is turning out to be a good thing for me.
This couldn’t come at a better time either as there may be issues on the horizon with one of my better sponsors which will be a deal breaker for me.
