uniqueiMemberI agree with you Dave.
At the end of the day it boils down to promoting quality programs (very few left I may add) and watching the deal one has negotiated with them with a hawks eye.
Nothing cheeses me off more than programs who change their deals as they please especially if you negotiated an exclusive deal with them for a disclosed period.

gokkenMemberHi Kolo,
Brightshare – do bundle | Allslots, Alljackpots, First Web Casino etc etc.
Player wins/loses affect your commission across all casinos in this group.
EG – Player loss $5,000 at Allslots but another player at First Web wins $10,000. This would put you $ – 5,000 in the hole and no commission for you on the $5,000 lost at Allslots.
Always best to promote only one brand if an affiliate program bundles. Just remember though if your players are cross marketed to (ethically – that is with your Btag), you run the risk of eventually having players signed-up and playing at multiple brands. In which case, your indirectly gambling too.
Referback – don’t bundle | Jackpotcity, Gaming Club, River Belle etc etc
Each casino is separate for other/s. Player loses do not affect commission at any other casino in the group.
EG – Player loss $5,000 at Jackpotcity. Another Player win $10,000 at Gaming Club. You’ll still receive your commission for Jackpotcity. Regardless of who winning what at any other casino in this group.
Bundling sucks.
There is no ethical business reason why any casino group needs to or should bundle, other than it provides a sure fire way to rape affiliates of commission. To back this statement up, some affiliate programs never bundled their casinos BUT now do. When referred players are playing across different brands at one casino group who is bundling, it lessens the amount o f money paid out to affiliates and increases company profit.
These places while they are all part of one casino group, will be operated as a separate business. Anyone who tells you otherwise is Bull$hitting you!

InactiveI recommend from now on all affiliates start listing the casino names the program carries when they post so SE visitors type in traffic sees the posts. forum posts get crawled quickly.

The adoption of an acronym for affiliate programs has certainly diluted the terms. Was this the plan all along, who knows. I try to always include the name. EG – if I’m taking about RA or CR then I mention Casino Rewards or Rewards Affiliates at least once in a post. Using the acronym is easier to type but yes I agree with your observation.

afaik players don’t generally search for the parent company ie.. Casino Rewards for example, I mean they might but imo more players search for the individual casino names.
the only way other than making it personal is to hit programs that cheat affiliates in the pocketbook.

InactiveIt would help a lot with google to make the thread title program specific too, if it’s about a specific program.
