Im thinking of building a bingo portal – i have a site that im pretty sure i can get to page 1 of google for the term “UK Bingo” which according to overture is norm in the top 3 bingo searched terms each month in the uk( i think the uk bingo market is much bigger then the US bingo market ?).
Do you bingo gurus think being page 1 for “uk bingo” will make much $$$ ?
PS. i know theres other factors like the quality of site, but just assume is as good as the others on page 1.
as a matter of fact, bingo does have quite a bit of potential income. there are webmasters who solely concentrate on promoting bingo rooms.
If you get such a ranking and the site properly adresses bingo players and what they like and need, you should do well.
I find the problem with bingo is lack of volume. When I was number 1 for bingo on MSN I would get 50-70 hits a day.
^^ Thats because MSN sucks… I was on the top for “poker” in Norwegian msn but got like 10-20 uniqe a day… google would prolly be about 1000 a day or more (I dont know)…
And yes bingo IS profitlble…
I own a couple bingo sites and I make decent money from it . Bingo players love slots and pull tabs so they can easily drop $500 a night at a good bingo hall.

I ranked 1+2 msn uk for “Online Casinos” and got about 4 uniques aday lol

We were #1 and #2 in msn and got about 20 a day.We are getting more at #12 in google lol. I have done some crazy things to promote my business , my employee dated the guy who was in the band that opened for INXS so I harrassed him into agreeing to wear my tshirt.Can’t wait to see who they open for in 2007 . Land Bingos work well for me , it requires paying for an occasional washer /dryer set for a draw or a tv but it keeps my business cards and flyers in the bingo halls 365 days per years. Try not to focus too much on free play and it helps to know the bingo hall/software you are promoting. My best revenue maker is one that I play myself , if the chat rooms are not fun you will lose your player in no time.Bingo players love lively chatrooms .

Another strong point for bingo is those chat rooms are communities.. A place for people to hang out with each other online, build relationships, gossip and drama.. and while theyre there daily, they may as well buy a few cards
I do suprisingly well with South Beach Bingo at Revenue Giants, but as has been stated you really do have to have a site targeted towards Bingo Players.
It’s best to have that site set up as a community IE message boards, Blogs etc as Bingo players are more communal then casino players.
Yes I have one website with a forum that is all bingo but unless you are going to sit and chat all day with them it really dont work any better than a site without the forum.You really need to promote the chat/community to the bingo players.Jackpot Joy is a fun site with lots of chatters but they dont allow USA players.I have been playing that deal or no deal game myself there and if there was a vote for #1 chatroom for gamblers I think I would have to give it to them.I hate the chatrooms that are strict , I got booted from a char room once for saying the word ‘D-A-M-M , BIBLE THUMPERS dont belong running casino chat rooms LOL.

My supervisor happened to be in the room and read the word Damm from this 70+ year old lady.. they argued about it in the chatroom (which in my opinion just added stickyness, that’s the drama stuff i mentioned above.. the soemthing for those ladies to complain about for days to come) but actually,some bingo rooms are supposed to be ‘family friendly’ and not offend the 70 year old ladies with bad language.
My favorite to play personally is VICs afterdark when CM Sky is working, I havent been in awhile, so I dunno if theyre allowing US players, but her adult games always have me giggling for hours
