Inactivei have seen a slowdown as well. i think the fact the playtech does not accept us players & microgaming does not accept 25% of us players has hurt us pretty bad. there are less places they can play and many are concerned if they shouold play at all

InactiveNo big change here although it was slow at casinoshare and grand monaco…
Now this is interesting we have players coming to us from vegas partner, referback, goldenstar and fortune saying they are allowed back in to play, I sure hope we are getting credit(Micro)

Something to watch out for, no question. What a good way to remove the affiliate out. As for income really have nothing to compare it too. My December traffic nose dived by 50%. I will be concentrating more on being a webmaster until I get the desired results.

GuestHi all,
well its my experience in terms of income that I’m down roughly 65%.
It certainly is important that everyone report any incident discovered where a player you know is signed up under you … disappears from your stats and you know they are still playing as in most cases it probably won’t be a simple “glitch” in the tracking IMHO.
Cheers

vladcizsolMemberThats exactly what I have been seeing since November. It’s really difficult picking up new depositors and overall income has suffered. The loss of Playtech was a huge hit plus I took a bath on Wager Share as I had a LOT of players there and watched an average income of $xx,xxx per month turn into a $20 a month joke.
When the banking situation tightens we are in for an even rougher ride so my advice is to diversify NOW as much as you can. :unhappy:

GuestHi again all,
ya wagershare hit me hard as well. I’m still finding and deleting links to their program except on pages targeting out of states traffic.

InactiveAt G&C there has mostly been a shift to the 400 group. followed some by true earnings and world casinos, hype is coming along, best casino partners (if they ever get paid there) … they lost a ton with wagershare too, plus playtechs had all paid placements with me that were stopped overnight.
But overall G&C damage was negligible, probably because they worked like bastards immediately rerouting all traffic to where it could actually play. US traffic is doing very well at the above, and they keep growing, while Micro is stagnant in general. Still there, but no growth.
The landscape is changing, and I have no idea yet how the banking law will affect this, hopefully the casinos will figure something out.
Personally, I will soon launch a financial site.

InactiveI have also taken a major hit, Wager share and all of the party gaming properties went basically to zero and I had been promoting them for over 7 years. Had a nice client base there, kind of sucks!

InactiveThe KEY is diversification, no doubt. October 13th (actually well before) was a wakeup call to all !
I don’t think Online gambling is dead – I think it’s going through a metamorphosis, and those that adapt to the changing landscape will reap the benefits; those that don’t will become dinosaurs and will wither away.
Remember, Merryl Lynch came out with a recent statement that online gambling will become a 1/2 trillion dollar industry by 2012. That is something to be aware of.
I will predict that the UIGEA will NEVER get enforced by the US government, largely due to the imposition (for no gain) on the banking sector, and the new Congress not supporting it. Also, the upcoming WTO rulings will turn out to be really big stuff in 2007.
The big question becomes how long will it be before the brick and mortar casinos get online, and how it will effect us as affiliates. To me, having Las Vegas come online, will result in the death of the gambling affiliate.
Good luck to all. For what it’s worth, my income is down about 45 % since the law was passed.

InactiveWe also had a huge drop because of wagershare – it is so very huge that i dont even want to think about it…
but thats not what worries me – i am worried because I get the best SEO traffic for my sites (online gambling, online casino, etc…) but conversion has dived down drastically. if we used to see a ratio of 15 clicks – one player, now its 60 clicks – one player.

InactiveMy thoughts are that with all the negative news many USA players are maybe afraid to play. The news media have basicly said online gambling is illegal and I know from many I have spoke with here in my hometown that they are aware. The online casinos that pulled out sent email to all USA players telling them that their accounts were closed. As a player if I did not know better I probally would not trust making a deposit in a online casino right now. I knew the new law would deal a great blow to the industry regardless of forcast say. I am glad I sold most of my sites and original affiliate accounts when I did. I have been advertising my new affiliate accounts at a loss the past 3 months. Example: Spend $10,000 to make $5,000. I agree with the Professor that it is only going to get worst when Neteller pulls from the USA. Its sad!

GuestHi again all,
