Inktomi used to be huge. They offered a paid inclusion service that was very popular, but then for some reason Yahoo! and MSN ended their relationship with Inktomi. If you had paid listings with Inktmoi your sites were removed from Yahoo and MSN.

It totally sucked.

When I search on inktomi and click the SERPS it takes me to Yahoo PPC.
I did try Overture/Yahoo for my other non-gambling site last year for a month.

Yahoo recently sent me a letter indicating they completely changed their ppc search marketing site. Haven’t checked it out though.
