Nice one! A lot of people keep talking to me about India being the next thing to hit. Unfortunately I can’t really help with suggestions, at least not off the top of my head but will ask around

On Casino City – If you set your preference to India as a country Ranked Online Bingo Sites – Casino City they have 319 bingo sites taking players 0 When I set the language to Hindi you get zero so not sure they are that set up for that traffic – Frustrating!!

I have worked with many people from India and they have told me that there are over 70 dialects in the different regions. So as a result they have adopted English as a second language and most people speak English. What would be nice is to have banners in the Indian currency, the Rupee.

Ales, well – I’ve seen traffic going up beyond 10x what it normally is at the site as a result, and I don’t think the programme is even on yet. Thanks for the Casino City tip, I didn’t know you could do that, but it’s filed away for later use.

Titus, thanks to, I sort of suspected that is the case, would be great if there was a proper Indian site out there to use, rather than try and send them to a UK facing one. I’m not sure what the legal state of online gaming is in India, could all be in vein anyway. :)

    Hi DioBach,

Perhaps we could discuss a deal to send a couple to CanbetCricket.com.

It’s not bingo, but as you may know, cricket is like religion in India, so we might be able to convert a few.

The site is in English, but as mentioned earlier, from all our research, English is the way to go, as everybody (in the urban areas, at least) is pretty much proficient. We also do offer Rupee as a currency.

Please contact me on schalkv{AT}yki-au.com if you would like to give it a try.

    Regards
    Schalk

Would seem to be right, I’ve got a number signed up at Bingolore already, but no deposits yet.

CK – Schalk – I’ll think about that and be in touch if I can’t find a better option

Online Gambling is not fully legal in India except lottery in a few states. But many operators accept Indian traffic. The Indian market has a strong affinity to gamble on poker, lotteries and cricket. Some table games are also popular and online bingo is picking up with some TV shows. Bingo is not common to people in India as much as in UK, but we use to play housie/ tombola when we were kids and it is very much a family game.

As far as language goes, English is the preferred language. The target market can speak and write in English and are open to online transactions, one of the most important factors when you look at India as a market.
