    If you want to have an idea about that, think about a big live casino.

    So they have the few high rollers coming in helicopters and who can make or lose millions in one night.

    They have a number of high stakes players in the baccarat room or poker tables…

    And they have the hordes of slot players, some of them coming by bus.

    The bottom line is the distribution is what is called a “Zipf distribution” or similar one: a few huge ones, many small ones, and some in between.

    Spot on. The whales are the key, but hard to find. I’d add a note: smaller players can actually be a loss-leader to casinos because of the excessive processing fees. :hattip:

    High roller here and there, then a good amount of medium players, and a little more small players is how it seems to be for me.
