    Good morning,

    We are more than pleased to announce that we have upgraded our software to C-Planet.

    As of October, all your stats will be tracked on C-Planet, which also provides you with much more statistical reporting information and tracking methods.

    You should use your Affibucks login information to log into C-Planet.

    I can assure you that nothing has changed regarding our program, except for the name of the site we’re using and our improved software.

    Please contact me with any questions you may have regarding this upgrade and I’ll be glad to get back to you as soon as I can.

    I hope you enjoy the new software.

    All the best,
    Gabriel

    Is Affibucks “becoming” C-Planet? What will happen to the Affibucks site? Should new Rushmore affiliates sign up at C-Planet? :wavey:

    You could say we are, although the only change for now is the name of the site and the affiliate back-office software.

    Affibucks will stay up, but all new affiliates will be directed to C-Planet. You will be able to log in to Affibucks and your stats history will remain online. All new stats will only appear on C-Planet.

    Hope this wasn’t confusing. :hattip:

    Gabriel,

    How do we see campaign details(subgid) now?

    ALL links I have ever used for Rushmore carried a subgid tag and I do not see this broken down in my stats at the new site, although the AfiBucks stats show me this.

    OK

    I found the manage campaign section.

    I created my campaigns….it’s too bad the campaigns didn’t start with #1 as mine started with campaign#5 but an LP# 1….whats an LP?

    Where are the text links??

    All I am finding are javascript banner links and although I choose to see all links a text link is not an option. (In fact if I choose to see ONLY text links, there are NO links returned)

    The format of the links I am seeing now are a different format then the links I am currently using so this looks like another change of links on all my sites….

    Another excellent question.

    You can still see sub-campaign details, under ‘Campaigns’ in the Statistics Menu. However, since it’s a brand new day of a brand new month, it’s very likely that you haven’t had any clicks yet, so nothing will really show up.

    Unfortunately, we were unable to import a lot of the statistical history from Affibucks, so you won’t see past clicks. You can still see them on Affibucks.

    You must have been posting a response to my first post as I was writing the second one.

    So far this looks like you are not ready with proper links for us….PLEASE correct me oin this as I want very much to be wrong and that you really do have a non-javascript text link that uses campaigns and tracks clicks for us to use.

    By the way, while you are preparing text links, how about direct download links also?

    Thanks for the input Rick,

    Regarding the JS, it’s there only to give you additional statistical info about your players (like what search engine they came from, what keywords, screen resolution, etc).

    If you don’t want to use the JS link, you don’t need to, just use the raw HTML part of the link.

    You can also use the old links you already have, and it will still track fine, but the new links will be better for you in the long run I believe.

    So will you be offering any kind of text link that tracks clicks….?

    Or, can you explain each section of the formatting for your link so we understand what portion is related to our affiliate id, which section is for the banner tracking, and which part is for the campaign?

    Also, if you will not be offereing a text link, is there any ONE banner link that will likely never go away? (my point is, often with programs we will see banners come and go and often the new banners will carry new btags associated with them as they replace old banners and sometimes the old tags will stop recording properly….but usually a btag associated with a text link will likely never change)

    You can always use the raw HTML text link:

    That’s pretty simple:
    b=banner ID
    cn=campaign
    a=your affiliate ID

    I don’t really know. However, even if you use our old links now, they will still track fine, so you don’t need to worry too much about obsolete banner tags, they will still track.

    I am happy to report they did go ahead and create a text link for use that does track. In adition, there is also a direct download link associated with it.

    I have tested the standard text link with a campaign and could see the results in my stats instantly so this is a good sign.

    I have also tested the direct download link with a campaign, and that too showed in my stats instantly. (I do have a question associated with this portion, but will create a new post for that so I do not confuse the great response to this affiliate need)

    I do have one question about the downloads.

    I just did a test download, (it tracked in stats) but when I look inside the exe I see a download ID, but the affiliate ID section does not have a number associated with it.

    Is the download id a completly unique number that is associated with THAT download only, so that say I ran that exe 3 months from now and signed up, credit would still be given even if cookies had been cleaned?

    How about I copy THAT exe to another computer, and ran it and created an account on a different computer?
