Thanks for the heads up. I use open ads on a few of my sites but haven’t updated it in probably a year or so. I will look into this further.
Btw, did you check your log files and figure out how they got in? Also did you post on the open ads forum letting them know of the vulnerability or was this a known issue thats confirmed fixed in a newer version?

i noticed when i logged into openads the other they they had a priority update, so presumably they are aware of the vulnerability…
damn hackers!
I don’t use openads or any of the popular facilities to manage our sites (although I was thinking about it).
I developed a basic home grown system, it has plenty of warts, doesn’t do Geo targetting etc, but at least it’s so obscure that no punk hacker will have a “canned hack” waiting to hit it.
Thanks for posting this – it adds another element into my decision about whether to move into a canned package.
