InactiveBush needs to answer to the people. In our country, Dems = socialism (give everything away – heck, we even give free medical social security, and education to illegals!)

InactiveBush definitely doesn’t answer to the people. Besides, he’s a puppet anyway. The power behind the thrown is a wicked web. If it’s not the religeous right, it’s the bankers, or the oil men, or the military industrial complex. You can’t stop this train unfortunately.

InactiveUnfortunatly Democrats can be a rather poor choice … trully the a$$holes who pushed the bill were republicans but while anti-gambling bill directly impacts us there are other issues that Dem’s support and I just can’t bring myself to vote for them.
Perhaps, come this Novemebr it is time for all of us, US voters to choose third candidate … corrupted polititians need a big wake-up call.

vladcizsolMemberI will be happy to pay for a Texas Hunting Trip for Bush, Cheney and Frist. I will throw in as much beer as Cheney can drink if they agree to use Double OO Buck shot or slugs in their shotguns.

Yeah Dems are for a few things I just cannot find myself to agree with as well and Hilary is evil I could never vote for her if it comes to that.
I think we need to go back to a senate ran by THE REAL PEOPLE, not crooks in suits but real working class American people!

Inactiveif you want change with America-you’ve got to impact the Americans pocketbook. It took something like this for people to wake up from their slumber to find out what poison the powers that be really are. Newsflash-it’s going to get alot worse.

InactiveIt is going to get worse before it gets better. These old school poly tics need to die off and soon.
As for the hunting trip – as long a Cheney does’nt become President himself – which would be even worse than Bush, if that’s possible….

They pretty much get all that now at the state level.
As much as I can’t stand Republicans (no offense to anyone) that bugs me also. The Dem’s are gonna pass that “comprehensive immigration policy” or the McCain/Kennedy bill and there is just some nasty stuff in there.October 5, 2006 at 7:20 pm #710122Anonymous
InactiveThe reason that I started this thread was not to get the Democrats into power. It is to make the political community aware by impeaching George Bush that the American citizens have rights within their society.
I do feel that by George Bush being impeached it may have an effect on the control being put back in the hands of the people who elected the flunkey.
You should have a right to recall a politician regardless of who they may be
and they should answer for their actions to the electorate. My feeling for the Democrats is the same as I think of the Liberals in Canada and it took 15 years to get rid of those assholes. The problem with Bush and his thugs are that they are putting the people of the United States in danger at all times by their stupidity.
I don’t condem the Republicans, I just criticize George Bush and his thugs who do what ever they want to with no concerns other than for their own gain and greed. I think the Signers of the Declaration of Independence would roll in their graves if they knew what the present Bush Government has done to the United States.
Anyway justice wins in the end and what goes around comes around. The battle will be won hopefully for the rights of those who gamble online and those gambling webmasters who make their living from the internet.

InactiveThat’s right barry it doesn’t matter if it’s democrats or republicans in power this would go down the same way. If people think this would be different with a democrat in office it wouldn’t. I remember the rep from South Dakota who spoke at last years CAC (I don’t recall his name) but he said the anti-online gambling bent of the DOJ started with Clinton and it carried over. This is an easy sell to voters and that is why it’s going down plus you have Las Vegas and other offline gambling PAC’s behind the scenes. If people want to impeach Bush for this they should impeach those that voted yes which is everyone. :p

Impeachment isn’t necessary when you can show your dissatisfaction with you elected leaders by not re-electing them.
