InactiveI. It’s estimated that USA gamblers spend $6 billion annually on gambling.
II. Immigrants sending money back to family in their originating country is nothing new. It’s a common practice and no, it’s not limited to illegal immigrants. Many immigrants come here to try and make money to support their families back home where conditions are poor.

InactiveNot sure what’s wrong with someone trying to give thier families a better life. Not all of us can be blessed with being born in a wealthy country. It’s pure luck where a person is born.

InactiveI think the original poster was just saying that the Congress is not forcing WU and other financial services to stop international money transfers from illegal immigrants to people outside of the country. At the same time they have used the fact that online gambling sends money out of the USA economy as part of the argument against the industry.
Oddly enough, most money sent out of the country for online gambling was earned legally and income tax was paid on it, however much of the money sent out of the country by immigrants was earned by people with no legal right to be here in the first place.

vladcizsolMemberWhat I want to know is “do those immigrants have individual tracking of every dollar they send back home?” And if they dont why do they do it?
(Inside joke based on YoubettoWin’s usual posts :happydanc )

You are exactly correct. I was just trying to make the point that the polititians make reference to the great ‘sucking sound’ of dollars leaving the country……………vis a vis – gambling, money laundering…terrorism.
It seems that they are saying – that we can over look 5.2 billion……but not 6b – from Gaming.

Professor – the url refferer tracking is the Western Union receipt and other means on money transfer – where the customer gets a receipt.
Do you get a url referrer stat from your money [your link] to the Sponsor Program?
If you did – you would speak up in the poll that exists at present on this Board and ask:
Show Me The Money
**********
At least legal and illegal immigrants – know where the money comes from – before they send it home!!!
Not one single person – has asked in the poll thread………..
Show us where the url referrer hits come from?
I guess – no one gives a shit. Which is a sad state of this Industry.

InactiveYoubettowin,
Not many people have responded to your message but I totally agree that we desperately need url stats showing where the player comes from.
I posted somewhere  that unethical MGs could deny us players and we have no recourse since they don’t provide that very important origin information.
Also, I’m questioning the fact that I’ve lost loads of players who’ve been with me for months and have no idea IF they are located in forbidden areas. The % seems a bit high for only 11 states and they appear to be my heaviest players at some programs.
Naming no names, of course, but it doesn’t seem equitable that we have to take their word for it. This could be a big opportunity for some.
