InactiveHey i remember Gina
From my days at Rock n Roll Heaven nightclub and the Gasworks downtown Toronto, around Bloor/Yonge, that would be late 1980’s, 87-89
Back then i was a guitarist for a Bad Company cover band, yep, Johnny was a shooting star

InactiveWell now, i have never played Dungeons & Dragons in my life, and i really haven’t got a clue on how to play the game, i would imagine it involves some serious thought since it was the Geek De Jour game of my era
I used to play a game i invented with my roughians, a version of bike tag, where we would ride our bikes while swinging those old school chains you used to lock up your bike, the point of the game was to peddle around underground garages and knock the other guys off their bikes, either by hitting them and knocking them off their bike or wrapping your chain into their spokes and causing them to take a spill, booting and punching was also allowed, it was quite entertaining, although bloody, the last kid standing would be the leader of the pack for the rest of the evening and they would choose what we did and where we went for the rest of the evening.
That’s when the fun really began, while i preferred the usual looting and twat hunting activities on my turn, others preferred activities like mooning people who were eating dinner, we’d go up to the window they were sitting at, drop our pants and bendover, one guy was insistent on pool hopping, but not your normal pool hopping, we would climb the fence with our bikes, head up to the roof and ride our bikes off the edge into the swimming pool 20 feet below, one time one of our boys missed the pool(didnt get enough speed up), smacked the cement and broke his leg, we had to carry him back over the fence and to the hospital, another guy would pick the popular activity of going to the strip joint and peeping into the girl’s change room, etc
Total hoodlum styles i’m afraid, we were naughty boys
And no i never lived in Scarborough, that place is like a bad gansta rap video, oddly enough i did play for their only pro sports team, the Scarborough Astros soccer club, i was quite easy to pick out, i was the only white guy around, i must confess i did enjoy that whole experience as we kicked ass and won the title one glorious season with me and my dreadlocks pumping the ball into the net every game.
That reminds me of a funny story
A few blocks down from the Gasworks right across from the Eaton Centre was the Hard Rock Cafe, i was sitting there on the patio one afternoon, when suddenly these 2 black kids started playing gun tag, one guy was on my side, the other guy was across the street, they started shooting at eachother, bullets flying everywhere, off passing cars, newspaper stands, etc, i nearly spilled my drink as one flew right by me, it finally ended when buddy across the street took a bullet to the leg and hopped off into the Eaton Centre.
There is nothing quite like growing up in a big city surrounded by millions of psychopaths, very entertaining.
So what are you gonna do with Gina, pimp her off to an aspiring young rock band ?
I always did wonder what ever happened to all those “Gina’s” i knew back in the day.
Is there some place they all go to, like a high heel/short skirt/hair spray retirement home.

biggygMemberLOL I thought you really knew my gina then she reminded me she was 14 back in 1987.No not going to Pimp my gina off to a rock band , going to hopefully find her a decent guy with a day job ,I figure she needs my help because she really has no luck finding them on her own LOL
My advise to anyone is never pick anyone up at a bar and never get involved with a guy in a band LOL
