You will need a sense of humour for this industry, for times like:
…when your commissions tank on the 31st at 11pm.
…when you get emails from the casino that’s at the top of your main page… asking you to promote them!
…when you have 50 hits, 2 downloads, and 125 “fun players”… ?
…when you have to hear affiliate managers say, “It didn’t arrive via NETeller? We’ll need to investigate.”

I knew this industry was hard….but I didnt think it was going to be this hard.
Im a stubborn one though…so I will be sticking this one out for a very long time.
I’ll be the first to admit, Rex, that getting started in this business today is much more difficult than when I got into it… and when I started, only 5% of the portals would survive the year.
You will have to be more that stubborn… you will have to be ruthless and somewhat fanatical!
Yes listen to these people, they are smart. They are the reason I managed to get where I am today! I have only been at this since ooooooh about Last September and I have been doing nothing but working on my sites and I am making good commissions, with a very nice increase in totals every month!! Way more then I imagined I could make this fast, and that’s a good sign for the future to come I think!

I know one webmaster that didn’t make a cracker for 2 years. After a bit of friendly advice that changed.
I don’t envy anyone starting out now at all…

Bada, for the first time I disagree with you. I think this is harder than adult; but then , I never made anything near in adult that I do in this; but it sure seems more competitive.anyway, Mr Int left out one very important phrase you must familiarize yourself with.
it is the answer you get when you write asking why you get no conversions / decent profitable players from that particular program.
Here’s the answer on how to make things better:
” If you would only increase the traffic you are sending, you will see great conversions and profit.”
so remember, if you sent 10,000 hits and only got 1 player worth $3.55, then if you send 100,000 hits ….. that will be different! THEN you will see the wonderful results we promise.
PS
and we never would lie to our partners. They are the reason we are in this business; for their better welfare.
Oh ya, and OJ is innocent.
