If I had a good game or stood out I used to get headlines like….

Dont push it, Lacrosse is a mans sport unlike that football (soccer) malarky. The slightest touch on their precious ankles and the whole game is stopped. We only stop the game for broken bones and the odd death.

Don’t be disheartened Martyn, Lacrosse definitely is popular. A few guys t my office are also big fans and play often. But I am not sure how this native American game moved over to UK

Yeah I hear stories from the guys at work. They seem to get quite a few hot coaches from US of A to coach them. No idea which teams they play for, LOL.
I haven’t played outdoors since years. Only exercise we do is :tongue: at the pub, when we interchange the pint glass between hands, LOL. Trust me it strenthens the biceps. And of course other ROi based ones :wink-wink.
